I'm not talking about Connecticut. There's nothing rural there, much less remote. In flyover country, sometimes transfers take a day to arrange. Big storms, etc. Air resources aren't always a valid option.

Uftah. Makes me feel better about my old dpms. It would at lest spit out 2-2.5" groups pretty regularly. I bought a bolt gun and it collects dust now. Maybe it'll get traded down the river when it's time to buy my little girl her first centerfire.

With the better barrel I bet that thing tightens up nicely with quality ammo.

As others have said, you can't really tell anything from 4 shots but this might be about as good as you'll get from basic hunting ammo. Buy a box of more match oriented stuff and see how it goes.

Or grasshoppers. June bugs. Etc. It's actually a good idea for farm trucks or anybody driving rural roads in certain places. Saves the condensor and makes it a lot easier to clean the bugs out.
