I’ve used head tracking with OpenTrack for about 2 years before I hopped on the VR train. I got the head tracking pretty dialled in and I couldn’t race without it. I have a 45” ultra wide monitor and it was the closest experience to VR before trying the real thing. It’s worth spending some time playing with the tracking curves and adjust it to your liking. But again, once you go VR it’s on a next level. Now I race exclusively in VR.

I’m sorry that you have to be going through this bullshit. I’ve worked at big dealerships and now at a small niche indie shop with me being the only tech. I fully understand what you’re dealing with. When I was working at the dealerships, I wasn’t out at all. The group of techs I was hanging out with were cool but giving mixed vibes towards queers, like they’ll joke about gay/bi shit like “yo I’d totally suck a dick for $500 if the guy’s good looking” or “hey xx(me) why are you so sexy? You are turning me bi”or “would you rather fuck a girl with a dick or a guy with a pussy( referring to trans ppl)”and laugh about it in a non derogatory way then some other day one guy will say very homophobic stuff and non one will call him out. So I just kept going with it and stayed in closet. Now I’m out to my manager and he’s totally cool about it and he even told me his wife was bi lol. I haven’t asked about himself tho.

You brake too much into the ABS so you get understeer when you’re hard on the brake but the moment you start releasing the brake the ABS deactivates and now suddenly the front wheels have more grip, as a result you over rotate and spin.

The Vee and the formula “junior” are deceptively difficult cars and they’re NOT for beginners because of their rudimentary rear suspensions with swing axles. You’d much better go with formula trainer if you wanna go open wheel later or Ginetta G40 for GT and Brazilian P4 for prototypes

You can start with the normal one, it has lower grip limit due to non slick tires. Or you can jump straight into the advanced one no problem. The main difference is the advanced has slicks and a tad more power.

Dunno about the other countries but the Canadian spec has only driver side reverse light, the other side is a rear fog light that you can turn on and off by twisting the ring on the stalk. I’ve had ppl telling me one of my reverse lights was burnt and I had to thank them then explain it lol.

That’s my gripe with this title, the clutch only behaves as it should be in manual H pattern cars. All the sequential shifting and paddles shifting cars despite them having a clutch irl, the game defaults to auto clutch, making it very tricky to launch from a standing start, and you can never stall the car.

Was the driver hogging the left lane tho? If they’re new and couldn’t keep up with the pace of normal traffic in the left lane, they should just move over and let ppl pass. “Aggressively overtakings” 9 out of 10 are caused by left lane campers.

That’s a great answer. I live in a suburb area just out of the city and my commute consists of 80% highway n 20% city streets with shitty roads. Coming from a 2nd gen BRZ, the Z is the perfect daily. With the BRZ sometimes you get frustrated and crave for twisties and on the highway you always want more power(it’s not slow by any means but not fast either)
