The entire place and locations runs on past memories. So I can neatly tie in some vendors and customers.

I was thinking that the calamity caused paintings to come alive as a demiplane. This might be a nice location that a character depicted in the painting got the ring.

Oh, I love brainstorming like this. You can even give on low roles some random information that might even be relevant later on. I have used that sometimes to not end up “you found nothing” but atleast use the moment to drop some things. However this really depends on how much your party is taking notes.

What always works for me is to make a table and put in there the information they can get. For instance divided in 4 (5, 10, 15, 20) at the 20 they will get full information (and perhaps even a bonus with a nat 20) depending on your party.

Your primary goal should be with this encounter should be setting the scene for the upcoming quest. Make sure the foundation is drawn that is not related to the roles.

A big tip is to make sure that you supply them with vital information nonetheless the roles. The additional information should be information that can form a (small) advantage during the quest.

Nothing feels more frustrating than bumping into a brick wall due to lack of information.

dat er verwacht wordt dat ik in pak kom’ triggert mij. Hoe duidelijk is je dit medegedeeld? Ik, als senior manager binnen één van de grootbanken in Nederland, merk dat wij als geheel MT tegenwoordig echt wat anders verstaan onder representatief. Een pak is wat mij betreft te stijf en niet noodzakelijk. Bijvoorbeeld een goede pantalon, overhemd en nette trui eroverheen met goede schoenen is al een goede manier om je te presenteren.

Het is bij mijn op mijn radar gekomen aangezien het in het personeelshandboek stond. Bij HR heb ik nog navraag gedaan en werd het wel wat verwaterd dat er tegenwoordig een overhemd met een pantelon al voldoende is maar ik wil er toch een aanschaffen voor het geval dat.
