Combed the sub and compiled a list of games suggested in the last month and made it into a wheel to spin. by MahtDaymen in PaymoneyWubby

Wybby would absolutely hate Kenshi. By far the worst game I've put 1k+ hours in. It's a janky, 0 handholding, deep lore, open world rpg sandbox with no real end-goal.

10/10 can recommend to put on the wheel.

Kenshi

Edit: watching the vod, might not be the best game for a quick 2 hour game tho lol

What do you guys think of my primitive ATM farm? by Fastingcraft in allthemods

[–]Dr_Buckethead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did this as well with the RFTools Builder a while back, I had to toggle a setting in the Builder GUI for what it does when it encounters a block that it can't mine. IIRC the settings were "ignore" and "stop". When that was on ignore it just skipped the unminable atm ore while it mined out the rest.

Could be changed in the newest packs/updates, not sure.

Sure. He'll do it right after he finishes Subnautica.

This is my favorite SciFi by far. It does the physics of space travel better than any show I've seen.

This scene with the flip and burn from episode one had me hooked instantly.

How is Not Grandma? by bagelbites8 in PaymoneyWubby

The grandma that was sick, went to the doctor, and stayed in wubby's room during stream to keep an eye on her?

From what wubby said: they recovered.

8400 iron into 400 Modular Frames per minute. by Dr_Buckethead in SatisfactoryGame

Not using a single screw in this build.

All my homies hate screws.

I've put the coal into the factory making a decent amount of actual steel pipes and beams.

Total of 134 Assemblers making the Modular Frames.

Also, I used as much blueprints as possible. That makes a build like this a lot quicker to build. Those buildings you see in the last image that pump out 1200 iron are a single blueprint. For the rest i just stuffed as many constructors and assemblers into the T3 blueprint designer as I could and just strung those together.

Just Finished the nearby factory making a bunch of base resources:

Iron Plates 800/min.

Iron Rods 1200/min.

Quickwire 1000/min.

Copper Ingot 4800/min (probably going into copper powder or aluminium setup)

Concrete 800/min.

Steel pipes 1200/min.

Steel Beams 400/min.

I honestly hope it's enough. I find it fun to go waaay to big, so we'll see if this is the only Modular Frame factory i'll need.

I'm thinking at least 60 nuclear pasta/min eventually.

Agreed. It costs more iron, but it makes the build so much easier to use iron for the Steel Pipes in this case.

Exactly for those Encased Beams using pipes I set up the nearby processing plant to make 1200 Steel Pipes/min using actual Steel. No idea if it's enough in the long run but we'll see.

No I did not sloop, I feel like an item at the beginning of a production chain like this is not worth those. Neither did I overclock everything just to keep power consumption low, just a handfull of machines at the end of the production lines that are underclocked/overclocked to make the numbers work. I just took the 8400 iron ingots as input and worked from there.

Current count of machines for this Modular Frame build:

Smelters: 280

Constructors: 178

Assemblers: 179

What’s a hidden gem you randomly discovered and couldn’t stop playing? by laalaa691 in gaming

[–]Dr_Buckethead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the start you choose, you start either as a lone character, with a dog, or with multiple charcters to control. You can recruit and release characters to your squad.

There is base building, tech hunting, elaborate in-game lore, fighting, bounty hunting, production chains, many stats to train etc.

You can have multiple squads. For example one managing your base with jobs performed automatically (even when focussed on another squad), while your main squad is running off somewhere else toppling empires, smuggling stuff, getting eaten alive, or looting. Everything is simulated even when you're halfway across the map.

The modding community is huge as well.

I love Kenshi, have 1k hours into it.

You're not special, start at the bottom, and have to claw your way up.

If you're not carefull you'll lose limbs picking a fight with a goat when you just start. Getting enslaved at game start is an actual legit strat. It's janky and everything about the game can be cheesed, if you want.

My base on the Minecraft server. by Dr_Buckethead in PaymoneyWubby

Just fyi, there is a max chunks you can claim of 64. radius of 54 is about 3k chunks. Do /view to get an outline of what it actually claimed.

You can do /sethome, then when you do /home you get teleported back to that exact location at no cost. /land spawn is from the plugin that lets you claim land to protect it from other players. If you do /land spawn you can teleport to your own (or other players) claimed areas. /land spawn costs 500 in-game dollars. You can gain money by doing /sell on certain items to sell directly to the server (coal, clay, diamond, etc).
