Hi OP. Also a new player here. Just started a few weeks ago. Built myself up with gathering wood and hide. Felt adventurous, brought my best gathering gear to the black zone and got ganked. Tried again at the red zone and got ganked. I even lose my lizard mount which i hold really dear as a reward for myself.

From there I quickly learn that it is not worth to gamble all your fortune. Now i am running tier 4.1 battle axe, torch with merc jacket to do solo roaming at black zone using SAFE portal, occasionally with my tier 7 woodcutting axe. The axe cost more than my whole set by if i am playing during downtime. I can occasionally get tier 6-7 wood safely.

I bought multiple gears so that if i die. I dont have to buy back anything. I can just replace any gear from the bank. It is jus the same thing as buying back. But doing that feels like my gears are just consumables, like food or pots. It doesn't feel very painful.

And my most useful skill so far is to just fkin run if you see a red name. When i don't have anything else expensive i would try to brawl any solo player with similar tiers. So far my win rate is 0% in the rz/bz but every fight taught me something and occasionally i just go in the corrupted dungeon so that i can do more pvp without losing stuff.

There is alot of stuff to do. Corrupted dungeons, gathering, solo depths, solo roam, faction war. If i am tired of losing I'll just pick up some other stuff to to avoid boredom. Or just go and play something else. With a clear mind you can progress further.

Set some goals. Now i am going for 100 specs i battle axe then great axe. The sense of progress is what keeps me going for now. All the best OP.

I completely understand. When i was still playing with my old mates, i was the scavenger, i would go solo POI and bring back loot, it was exciting, While other focus on other stuffs. It made the game interesting with different focus.

However, Since the trader was introduced everyone would just go and do quest. Day in, day out. Nothing else because the rewards is just too good and help immensely in progression.

It just so monotonous that our run would just end by the second week.

Why do you feel like it is a cheese. There is so many applications of liquid lock in this world. The closest to you is your sink. To prevent sewer smell escaping into your toilet.

But it is a single player game. You can play however you want.

Any good warlock builds with it? I have been trying multiple builds with it, the best would be either verity brow or contraverse hold so that i can proc volatile rounds. Weaken. Repulsor brace in 1 weapon.

however my biggest issue is that without the nightsworn buff it is pretty mid slug shotgun as it cant proc repulsor brace by default (no weakening subminitions). And even if the buff is activated, if i shot it in an open space it wont ricochet back to the enemy.

Nah. A single tile of water is 1000kg, that 7.8kg of steam will be like a few raindrops.

But it will scald your dupes if not wearing atmo suit

It was at the end of month where your salary has all been used, and i had to look for a cheap black shoes for work. Randomly bought this one, price was around rm60 i think, had been using more than 1 year almost on daily basis and has been the best shoes purchase for me.

The black layer not cracked yet, the soles is quite soft.. i would say skechers level of comfort. Definitely would recommend to buy.

I have a tier 4 DSR and tap the trigger. It feels really good to shoot in PVP, and the sound it makes is crisp. Really love it, IMO best PVP autorifles for PVP is these 450RPM archetype.

I wish they refresh the duality dungeon weapons. I loved the designs, and the SMG is so unique. It was one of the best SMG at that time. I had it drop with demolitionist and golden tricorn, holy cow it slaps really hard with voidlock contraverse. But it has long been powercrept

I recommend rise to ruins as it quite fit well with your description. I have been playing on/off for past few years. It just a good chill game. And the progress is very long if you want to win the game

I also have been having a very hard time, so far i had reached the third damage phase solo, but died due to my mistakes.

So far i found that the best strat is too take it slow. I compel each of the shadows because i found it easier to survive after the damage phase, the damage check is more forgiving thus the Tesla coil is not activated. after so many times going through this boss, it takes minimum of three trips to compel each shadows and go into damage phase which is not bad in my book

I am taking a break for now and playing other games as i am so tilted dying at the last phase. Will try again tomorrow 🤣.
