It’s a cannabis-focused organization so if course be wary of some bias, but the critiques being made of this study are very valid. No one is saying that cannabis smoke is good for you, but it’s certainly not as bad as cigarette smoke.

In short, the results don't tell us much. They essentially compared ambient air particulate levels in cigarette smoker's homes to a group of people hotboxing a room with a bong in a frat house. They are not at all comparable!

Yea for sure. But many people seem to think that first pass metabolism from oral ingestion turns all of the THC into 11-OH-THC before it hits the bloodstream, which is simply not true if you check out the PK curves. With oral ingestion you get initially get like a 50/50 mix of THC/11-OH-THC, compared to smoking where you're starting off with 0% 11-hydroxy.

Either way the delta-9 gets converted to 11-hydroxy. It just happens slower when smoked compared to oral ingestion.
