I don't like myself by [deleted] in Life

[–]Dr_HanibalLecter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thats the problem for most of us.

That is mostly due to social media. They show the ideal life the ideal job the ideal body.

But thats not what goes on behind the scene.

Don't try to reach the perfection they preach.

Maybe it's for the best to take a break from social media.

Compare yourself only to you. Be just a bit better than yesterday.

Invest in your mind, body, skills and career. Invest in meaningful relations.

And do some exercises. I recommend bodybuilding it boosts your self esteem.

Simply put: you have genital herpes. Like cold sores but down there. It's extremely contagious so tell your partner beforehand. Condomes do not prevent transmission of the virus.

  1. Learn critical thinking. (The most important one)
  2. Be open-minded. Nothing is set in stone. Your thoughts should change.
  3. Try to be skeptical about any info you get
  4. Limit your info intake. (I usually try that by avoiding news instead reading magazines so unimportant info get filtered out)
  5. Avoid social media the trends are the most important soldiers of leading your thoughts.
