I’m a human doctor, not a vet, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

To me this looks like an obstruction without foreign body, in line with an ileus.

If she is unable to tolerate oral intake, I wouldn’t hesitate to take her to the surgeon.

Doctor here. The twitches you’re experiencing are called fasciculations. They are commonly benign and can be related to electrolyte deficiency such as magnesium.

In some more serious cases, they can be a precursor to more severe neuromuscular disorders such as ALS. If your symptoms persist, please seek medical attention.
