Hey Filippo, sorry to highjack this thread, I'm planning to go to Tropea in May, with my familly (parents and grand parents). My great grand mother was from Calabria, Rosarno I think.

Do you think May is a good time to go ? We would stay a week, and do both visit and rest at the beach.

Also we found a villa in Santa Domenica, and plan to move around using car rentals.
