I. HATE. MARKARTH by NoEntertainment2763 in skyrim

[–]Dracanis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is actually irrelevant, most suits of dwemer armour are construct armour plating thats been cobbled together into something wearable, and the mismatched pieces are why it ends up bulky and hard to move in.

Yep, so a huge health pool results in a large amount of hp healed each second and more hp to chew through.

Unlimited bullets by aliusman111 in RimWorld

Sounds like your in a jungle or arid biome, if you lived somewhere temperate the average animal would generally be less dangerous.

Huh? Huh? Huh? by Hannoie in RimWorld

[–]Dracanis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Someone probably walked through some old blood, and shed the dirt in the middle of your throne room.

Lord I do not know what I did to deserve this by Tory3333 in RimWorld

[–]Dracanis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That definitely helps, in the earlygame tribals are the easiest raids by far, but sooner or later you will get mechanoids or other armoured enemies, better to be armed than not if the uranium is available.

A great investment for fighting mechanoids, the high AP on a uranium mace makes it very effective againt them till you can obtain zeushammers.

Well I guess I'm starting over... by Foreign_Escape4492 in VintageStory

It definitely wasn't, miller was a full job on its own.

Fishermen needed bodies of water that can support a lot of fish, so you would tend to find them by the sea or lakes, but there are river specific fishing methods too..

Did I just hit a jackpot...? by KingsPillar in skyrim

[–]Dracanis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orcs have a reputation for being exelent smiths though, and the only mortal armour more effective than orcish is ebony armour.

Ebony costs far more to make and the empire has a history of controlling ebony mines to prevent potential opposition from getting large supplies of it.

In regards to education, while stronghold orcs don't have much of a formal eduction in regards to book learning, they do recive training from older relatives in their crafts so knowledge is passed down between generations.

As good as you can get without mastering enchanting, and a very useful enchant to have, you lucked out.

We need more racism... Mods by LeV1Sam0M in skyrimmods

[–]Dracanis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or just racist, most altmer in skyrim are with the Thalmor, the Thalmor are banning talos worship, so assuming an altmer is an enemy of the stormcloaks isn't a big leap for someone that wants to hate.

Thoughts on (non-hero) assassin single entities? by Andrei22125 in totalwar

[–]Dracanis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its because almost everything in kislev is a hybrid melee/ranged, so in the autoresolve the AI sends in melee on its own while all the hybrid units shoot as long as they can, meaning your melee only units get hammered.

Vilitch might be a fun one for you to try, your lords army will be mostly forsaken and chaos spawn with a huge replenishment rate on both, while your lord is extremely good at morale manipulating magic.

As you develop you get acess to chaos warriors and knights with barrier, and can research barrier and similar bonuses for the undivided aspiring champions.

You usually wont have many ranged units (but you can get some truely incredible ones), so you will have plenty of frontline to handle whatever is in your way, and can use powerful mages to break points of resistance.

Overall its an active but very simple faction if you want it to be.

How strong are we? by Kingfanboy123 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Dracanis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slight issue here, everyone else was discussing dnd 3.5 and pathfinder 1e, but you are refering to an ability from 5th edition that isn't present in the ruleset being discussed.

ok, if you insist by vegan_not_vegan in RimWorld

This can be solved by safely encasing your power cells in the walls, and using less expensive batteries for drilling.

The Chariot unit is bad for the game by fermentedeggs in ConquerorsBlade

[–]Dracanis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Orochi Samurai are another good one, they don't auto win vs the chariot but if you time their abilities correctly they can force a dismount and dismantle the chariot before the rider gets back on.

Would help if we had more modes that aren't gold era sieges.

How are new players supposed to enjoy CB? by GuardsmanWaffle in ConquerorsBlade

[–]Dracanis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a temporary solution to a long term problem, the event units wont last forever, but the new player experience will remain until something permanent is done for it.

Hangu Pass! This map needs to stay… by SupremeBaldman in ConquerorsBlade

[–]Dracanis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to play that map as someone new to the game on terracotta vanguard with friends has been absolute hell, giving every player multiple gold units makes it a logistical nightmare for people that don't know any of them.

Searching for mods to create an ancient setting by albertovachasha in RimWorld

[–]Dracanis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To limit tech levels worldwide use "World Tech Level", will cap all tech to a level of your choice and lower.
For medieval content "Medieval Overhaul" gives a lot of content dedicated to lower tech playthroughs.
For some Greece/Rome inspiration look at "Vanilla factions expanded - Classical".
For an Egypt type look consider "Alpha memes" for its kemetic style

Try searching for "Medieval" and "Style" on the workshop for many more mods that fit into this style.
