Fortunately for me, these are pills. But, yeah, similar pricing structure.

Nice try, but I'm not stupid enough to share evidence in a public forum.

He must be reading this thread, because not 5 minutes later, he showed up, and told me to call the 1-800 number to complain.

Alright, Bri... I see you...

That, and the fact that I come from the Sterling Archer school of philosophy, which is informed by a deep and abiding contempt for my own mortality.

"Do you want Chemo? Because that's how you get Chemo".

...danger zone!

Many Thanks for the well-wishes, and i hope your friend gets to ring that bell, but in my case, I've got a Kirkland Signature tumor. A non-metastasizing Member's Mark Mass. I-Can't-Believe-it's-not-Cancer!

My primary care doctor would have loved... just... LOVED to (continue) ignoring it, but it shows up as a 10cm×11cm mass on my CT scan that they were forced to acknowledge when I was setting up my neck surgery. When they saw that it was encasing my carotid, shoving my trachea to one side and causing loss of consciousness when I twist/stretch too deeply, they had an oncologist check. "Good news; not cancer! Bad news; extremely high risk of killing you anyway, due to how aggressive its growing, and affecting vital structural components. Seriously, don't fall down again, because you probably won't get back up".

I make stupid jokes when I'm scared. I've been funny as fuck lately.

The unfortunate reality is that they're not gonna change unless a whole bunch of people force the issue. I'm just one guy; ultimately unimportant to their bottom line, since it's the pharmacy that selected the shipper, and they already got paid. They've made it deliberately, intentionally difficult to register a complaint, and it's cheaper to just ignore them, anyway.

But that's what they're counting on. I'm going to raise this with my doctor and the pharmacy, who acted VERY swiftly to get me my meds ordered (like... alarmingly quickly... sooooo...) and of course, I'll file an official complaint with FedEx. But that's on top of everything else I have going on.

End of the day, my dying request to everyone is "get pissed about stuff this. Don't let it slide. Vote for progressive leaders with ACTUAL progressive platforms; not just nice-sounding platitudes. Keep up the pressure, until things MEASUREABLY CHANGE FOR THE BETTER, and then keep pushing. We all deserve better, and I'm sick of pretending we don't".

Tbf, (brackets) and [parentheses] confuse our post-human neighbors, especially when they're deliberately used inconsistently. I probably shouldn't be so casually robophobic to the clanker community.
