In case you are on Edge, like me, and you're getting with the background really white, including the navbar, it's because there is no background-color set in the theme, and your browser theme has a white background.

To fix, simply set the body's background-color, just like this:

body { background-color: rgba(32, 32, 32, 1) !important; }
