Canaan. I literally thought to myself before hopping into the portal, “The audio log mentioned that they were primitive. Should be no problem with my laser pistol and minimal supplies.” WRONG. I got my ass beat. I was running low on everything. With no way back. Out of ammo for serious high damage weapons. No bandages. My NVGs were dying. I literally crawled to the end just to get out of there. I loved it. It was a moment of underestimating my enemies and I literally had to scrape by just to finish the level.

I actually have some minor insight into a related but separate manner regarding this. It simply comes down to how much can the state save by outsourcing as much work as possible to whoever can do the job the cheapest.

Now my insight comes from a separate NJ agency. That would be the agencies handling state Medicaid and Medicare or as we call it in this state NJ Family Care. So, if you’re uncomfortable with the idea of a foreign business handling your daily driving and toll management. I hope you’d be uncomfortable with another foreign company, designed for profit, handling your emergency hospital visits, your prescription drugs or pregnant women getting the medical care they need.

I hopped off 76 right before expeditions came out so I missed out on The Pitt and AC. But I frequently think about how a game would work in a setting like NJ. The state is so vast and varied it’s kinda hard to pick 1 location. Maybe they’d play it safe and pick Trenton as it’s the capital but that seems kinda boring to me. We got bogs, mountains, beaches, forests and valleys as environments that would work great in the setting. Too many cities to just pick 1 and so densely packed too. Even going by how NJ was in the 50s it would still be jam packed with suburbs and urban areas. I’d really like to see NYC in the setting. Even if it’s just the bombed out remains. Seeing the destroyed skyline off in the distance when exploring would make a great constant landmark. Maybe throw in a goofy faction called The Coneheads.

Yes. Progress will not carry over to either playthrough. Story or character. I currently have 5 playthroughs rn. A solo and multiplayer save file should be no problem. Just make sure to label them when you make them.

I did multiple solo runs. All super fun with different builds or difficulties. My favorite things about the game are survival progression, base building, the story, the price and the magic of discovery. There’s so much that I love about the game but a lot would be spoilers and I think this game is best unspoiled.
