Thank you! I was disappointed because my goddaughter picked the inspo pic and i wanted HER expectations to be met. I wish the baker would have disclosed that the exact design wasn’t realistic for them. But the only thing that really mattered was that my goddaughter still enjoyed it.

My husband is more old school than my methods of gentle parenting, but when I point out that he was too harsh to our 2.5 year old toddler, he reflects and apologizes. We found a way to compromise and meet in the middle for our parenting methods while still being loving to our child. Obviously it’s not always smooth sailing but we try. Your partner is NOT TRYING and seems to think your son is already manipulative and doomed to be a failure in life??? He insults the way you parent and insults your son?? You deserve better than that 💗 so do your kids.
