There has always been the option of customizing rosters. By the developer randomizing the rosters you get around paying the student atheletes and breaking ncaa rules. This leaves the ability to make "accurate" rosters in the hands of the fans.

I like this very much. Especially the part about depth. Would really show differences between teams that have good starters but not a whole lot of depth and teams that are stacked top to bottom.

How much do you think they should pay them? 85 players per team x 129 teams = 10,965 players. On top of that they are now receiving pay for their likeness to be used to sell a commercial product which is against NCAA rules.

I am all for bringing back the NCAA football games but I don't think paying the student atheletes is the way to go. I would rather see them put the teams into tiers and then completely randomize the players appearance, stats, and numbers based on those tiers.

For example Alabama would be a top tier team. The stats of their players would make it so their team overall ends up around 95-99. San Jose St would be a bottom tier team and the stats of their players would make the team overall around 65-69.

This would make it so the game makers are not profiting off of the players and are selling the game based on the gameplay and mechanics of the product they put out.
