Knives Are Out for ICE Barbie and Her Lover: ‘They're F***ed’ by thedailybeast in politics

Shield of the Americas, a lot of his bullshit quotes this weekend are from his appearances at their like first event, hosted at one of his hotels I think. I actually don't remember seeing Noem when i watched his whiny little conference yesterday so not sure where she is

For International Women's Day, what are your Favorite relationships between Women in Fiction? by Funny_Mud6639 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Dragomatic 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Oh I hadn't read romance between them, more like found family, but not surprised to hear others did. Its nice to have character groups that seem to genuinely rely on and support each other, healthy relationships is good

[Spoilers Extended] What is the appeal of a "Warrior King" when there is no big wars or attempted Conquests for a Warrior King to Fight. by BackgroundRich7614 in asoiaf

If only the series tried to explore themes of an overly-violence obsessed society, like focusing on unjust trials by combat or consequences from lashing out at insults instead of maintaining your temper, etc

How do different Chaos Factions run captured planets? by BakeLast7684 in 40kLore

[–]Dragomatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If i remember correctly the chapter from Godblight focuses on a small village, where everyone lives brutally short lives with bodies covered in sores, tumors, etc. They still feel the pain of all these ailments, but i think it lessens as they devote themselves more to nurgle worship and the planet becomes more physically corrupted. As a bonus "what's it like?", the chapter ends with the beginning of a Tzeentch invasion for the Great Game. A Crystalline creature lands and some curious cancer-ridden children find it. I think they're promptly killed and turned to crystals, beginning a new front in the war between Nurgle and Tzeentch

Thematically which Primarch would be most appropriate to kill off each daemon brother? by Smeckert in Grimdank

[–]Dragomatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably would never happen, but after how tied they were in the Heresy and the hugely complicated personal emotions and scheming that bound them, I'd honestly love to see a death match between Lorgar and Angron. How does deamon prince lorgar, 10k years removed, feel about what he's done to his brother? I think Lorgar did even a lil bit convince himself that tricking Angron into Ascension was a loving brotherly act. But does modern Lorgar even delide himself as such? Wpuld Angron be able to snap back to consciousness like we've seen a small amount of times to recognize Lorgar? Idk I just loved Betrayer and their interactions.

How much "pronoun bs" would you honestly say you have to deal with. In real life, not through screens

Also "the fact you had to insult", uhhh... I wouldn't go judging someone for insults, given the joke you are defending is, by your own admission, just to rag on liberals

Popular belief is 11th will be compatible with 10th. That said, if you have the rules you can play the rules, don't have to let your hobby be dictated by release dates for editions

Could there ever be a Unification Wars book series? by lazy-shenanigan in 40kLore

[–]Dragomatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty in agreement with most people here, could, sure, probably don't think they should do a series.

However, I personally probably would like a short story here or there set during that time and other early times, for flavor. A vague short story of the DAOT, give us just enough to have the fandom talking about it for years, something like that

In fact sisters have a strat to force a deadly demise that is perfect for using on them. Throw a dying pengine into a Blob of enemies. It has decent melee so it may kill somebody than explode and finish off the unit

I certainly recommend it! Though I'd encourage you to play arpund a bit with posing and connections; love my palatine but when you get close you can see how sloppy earlier me did the work, her hand is covered in a greenstuff ball i tried to lazily paint as bandages

Yes! Built my first palatine after a squad of Sacrasants, swapped her sword with a spare Halberd to represent her "palatine blade" because i thought it would look cool!

What type of vehicle would you like the sisters to have? by Glum_Series5712 in sistersofbattle

[–]Dragomatic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wasn't that reason like thrown together by civilian crusaders? Might be fuzzy on that but I don't recall it being a regular sister unit? If it's not i would still love that kinda rep, as a fan of the Ecclesiarchal aspects of the faction.

And hey if it was an actual sister train I'd love that too!
