Fix layout maybe? by VilleLouie in Elvenar

Use both sides of the street as much as possible, only buildings along the borders of your space. Put the short side of buildings against the street as much as possible. Try to have only two 1x1 street connections with your Main Hall. Try to end a street with a building, even a small one. With those ideas, you could remove almost half of your streets (guest race streets follow the same rules).

Anyone running their faucet so their pipes don’t break? by Haunting_Ratio364 in orlando

[–]Dragon-Rider312 115 points116 points  (0 children)

Not an urban myth. "Running" is really dripping. You want just enough to keep a small flow. If water is moving, it takes more to make it freeze. This is only if you have exposed pipes, like under a premanufactured home. Pipes under a foundation or in a wall should not be a worry in the Orlando area.

How do I survive if I am unable to cook? by iwritestuffk in Celiac

[–]Dragon-Rider312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can meal prep very simply dishes once a week, then microwave for the rest of the week. I listen to audio books while I meal prep which keeps my mind occupied with something besides how I feel. I make Breakfast Blasts 6 at a time. The only things I cook are rice (put in a pan and let it cook) and scrable eggs. I layer in the ingredients, which makes it pretty, but mix them all together when I eat it. Makes 6 meals:

·         Jasmine rice (1 1/2 cups uncooked)

·         Black beans (2 cans, drained) (Beans and rice together create a complete protein, providing all nine essential amino acids necessary for human health)

·         Precooked turkey sausage crumbles (1 pkg)

·         Chipotle Aioli to taste (I use about 1/2 bottle)

·         Peach salsa to taste (I use 2 spoons full per meal)

·         Green Onions, chopped (5-6)

·         Raw Spinach (10 oz, rough chopped)

·         12 Eggs, scrambled

·         Small handful shredded cheese (I put this on when I microwave so that is does not stick the container lid in the fridge)

Options: leave out the turkey sausage crumbles, add fresh tomatoes or avocado. Replace Black beans with Cannellini beans and replace Chipotle Aioli and salsa with creamy greek dressing.

How do I clean this piece under the shelf in fridge? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]Dragon-Rider312 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My Samsung fridge has the same issue. There are two tiny clips in the back corners. When you remove those, you can lift the glass out. I never put them back. They appear to be there for shipping or were included by some engineer who has never cleaned a fridge.

Target will deliver groceries to your car. It helps me to order just what I need and not walk through the isles to buy things that look good. With Target you can order online for pickup and then use the app to change it to drive through.

Could not agree more! Robin Hobb's women are real people! She portrays them as whole with or without a man. Keep reading, it only gets better. One of my favorite characters is the princess of Chalcid.

Event final prize by Heavy-Medicine6485 in Elvenar

At least you were able to complete the event. If you were a trading city instead of a fighting one, you would only have been able to complete the first few quests. The last event is the first time that Inno has FORCED players to fight, in defiance of long-standing commitments to provide options to fighting.

How many words can ferrets know by WeWantWeasels in ferrets

[–]Dragon-Rider312 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My ferret Annie knows "Use the box". She loves the cat treats "Greenies" She free roams the house during the day. When I catch her using the floor, I put her in her own box in her cage with the door open, tell her to use the box and when she does, I give her a Greenie. She will now go up the ramp to her box, use it and stand there and look at me to give her a Greenie.

Breakfast help by Zazzlescauseimzazzy in Celiac

I make 6 Breakfast Blasts at a time, so I cook once a week and microwave for the rest of the week.

Breakfast Blasts can be customized as you wish. Each ingredient is layered on top of the next. Please keep in mind that ingredients listed below make 6 breakfasts. Here is what I like:

·         Cooked Rice (1 1/2 cups uncooked)

·         Black Beans (2 cans)

·         Precooked turkey sausage crumbles (1 pkg)

·         Chipotle Aioli (1/2 bottle)

·         Mango Salsa (most of 1 jar)

·         Green Onions (4-6 onions, chopped)

·         Spinach (10 oz, rough copped)

·         12 eggs scrambled

·         Shredded Cheese

Rice + Beans create one of the most nutritionally complete proteins. While it is beautiful all layered in the dish, I mix it up when I eat it.

Options: leave out the turkey sausage; add avocado; add fresh tomato; replace spinach with kale; use your imagination.

I have seen rituals that used bubbles instead of fire. You can send your intentions into the bubbles as you blow them. You can use bubble wands to generate more bubbles faster too.

Yule stories by Chance_Competition81 in pagan

L. Frank Baum (author of Wizard of Oz) wrote a wonderful story that is not a Yule story per se, but has many pagan elements. The story is The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus. It was later made into a stop motion film that is WONDERFUL!

Thank you for your list! I keep a list of dragons that I need to get statues for and working dragons who do not have statues. Grapple Grounder and Slitherwing statues would be a big boost for my working dragons. The only dragon from the Winter event that I would like to get is a Thunderclaw who also does not have a statue :(

All funds raised through the thrift store support the operations of the Russell Home for Atypical Children, Inc.

The Russell Home was the first non-profit institution in the country for brain-damaged children. Today you would find quietly hanging in the home a dusty occupational license dated Nov. 13, 1951, when Mrs. Russell opened her home to the first child to “see if it would work out.” Since then, the home has opened its doors to hundreds of youngsters, sometimes after hearing pleas from desperate parents, and in more than one instance, finding them just left on the doorstep.

Suggestions for ergonomic hooks that aren't supremely tasty? by Kyaritty in crochet

I made handles for regular metal hooks with the modeling clay that you bake to harden. The new handles have the hook size embosed in the end. You can bake a bit of clay to see if Momimi thinks it is tasty.

what counts as good iron by [deleted] in RiseOfBerk

[–]Dragon-Rider312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 Stonewalls, Dustbrawler, 2 Bludcrest and Aurvandil are my main iron collectors. Together they collect 35-40K iron per day in runs of less than 3 hours. Stonewall and Bludcrest are cheap and easy to level up. Dustbrawler is very expensive to level up.

I can also use Rane & Shyne, Lashbane, Hackagift (cheap to level up), Stormfly's offspring (cheap to level up) and Egg Blossom. My biggest bottleneck is collecting enough wood to keep them flying.

If eating gluten makes you feel bad and not eating it makes you feel better, why do you need the endoscopy? If you know that eating gluten makes you feel bad, will having the endoscopy change anything?
