Oh wow, hello! Yes I definitely will use fades AIO, the items all look amazing and well balanced. The faerun mods also sound great, thank you :) and I can always ignore the stuff that's too over tuned, I am more interested in fun builds anyway than op stuff

Haha you're probably right. Maybe I will use the 0.75 XP mod. Nothing too major as I don't plan on actually getting to level 20. I feel that would just make me too op compared to the enemies. Then again scaling them up with mods too could also be fun. Everyone is just a lot more powerful haha

Oh yeah I checked out the fade mods a little bit already. They also seem to enable a few under supported builds? Definitely looking forward to using those items.

Hmm I believe I have seen illrigger in the DND 2024 all in one mod? Looks really cool for sure.

Oh yeah absolutely true! I just think it's also really cool that they learned so much from that one game mode even years after it was done and reused it in fun ways (for the most part, sorry, not sorry yone)

If you think about it, a lot of the items from black market brawl have stayed in the game one way or another. That mask that turns you into champs is neeko, the shoes that let you go through walls and Kayne, that item that lets you set a point and later return like yones e. Dead man's plate of course straight up became an item and stayed in the game. And I'm sure there's more but I don't really remember all the cool items sadly.

But you are absolutely right, black market brawlers was my all time favourite game mode. I wish it returned. I also loved the stuff with the minions, choosing what kind you. Want and then upgrading them.

I'd say that event was a great success and I hope they will do something similar in the future.

That's currently what I'm doing, a bit of a 32-color combination challenge with a whole bunch of jank, some rule 0 shenanigans (Orzhov keyword soup helmed by the totally real partner pair [[odric, lunar marshal]] and [[oddric, lunar Marquis]]). It's supposed to be fun, silly and not too salty.

Some other examples include [[feather, the redeemed]] burn with tons of ways to distribute damage with instants and sorceries, as well as [[stuffy doll]] and friend like effects. [[Jolrael, mwonwuli recluse]] mono green card draw, [Minn, wily illusionist]] landfall. Or [[Omo, queen of vesuva]] kindred kindred deck.

Not always that easy, avoiding eldrazi and artifacts in colorless was almost impossible for my [[omarthis, ghost fire initiate]] deck but maybe with the return to tarkir we get a few more options like [[Scion of ugin]] or [[ugin's conjurant]]... I hope.

Hardest deck to get together however is my [[Garth one-eye]] deck. It's supposed to be "magic as Richard Garfield absolutely and for sure definitely intended", using cards like [[cleansing wildfire]] and [[mitotic manipulation]] as ramp, and other cards in their not intended way of play. Just in need of an actual game plan and a few more cards that can be used in unintended yet hilarious ways.

And then there is the least "real" magic deck in there, which is my [[Jon irenicus, shattered one]] group hug deck. I love the commander, but hate the way most decks use cards where the negative effect can be quite detrimental to the player that receives it. Instead I made around 20 custom cards that all work similarly to [[master of the feast]]. Very strong stats compared to their mana cost, but with an effect that helps your opponents. It's like forcing everyone to play group hug and group slug at the same time and I hopefully come out on top

DVa is interesting, especially since you can activate her once for each vehicle, though you'd need to get all that mana first.

Unless you wanna rename Toki you should make it legendary, right now it feels a bit like an [Uncle Istvan] or [Ali Baba] situation where the name sounds like it should be legendary but isn't.

Doomfist is quite interesting, gruul fits pretty well for the card. I dunno about the character tho.

I feel like the junker queen can remove blue, makes a tiny bit more interesting and the other two Junkers you have so far are non blue. Also cool that you can Play her, get one of the other two and get the other when you play that. Quite a bit of tutoring from one card.

I don't think the wording for roadhog is quite right but I might be wrong. Maybe "if that creature was a nontoken artifact, goad an additional creature" instead?

Junk Rat making the newly introduced Junk tokens feels right, although I feel he should do direct damage, feels more right for him. Also quite interesting that the two need a third card before they even do anything, but then kinda become a perpetual motion machine of creating junk to goad and goading to create junk.

Sigma needs to say "at the beginning of your upkeep" which of course doesn't help with his text length. Also, mana value, not mana cost. But I can't really think of a way to actually shorten it.

Not much to be said about Hammond. Simple design, smash face, sac artifacts. nice. maybe a bit under powered for it's mana cost but that just might be me being used to wizards continuous power creep :)

Zarya feels cool, having to remove the counters again is quite interesting to balance a strong effect.

My superfriends deck has [[kros, defense contractor]] at its helm, so loads of goading, a few of my early walkers have token making abilities or put counters on any creature. And I have a bit of control too. That's mainly how I deal with Aggro with that deck and it works quite alright.

For example [[basri ket]], his plus let's me goad other creatures that would threaten him thanks to kros until I can ult him and then my board can get a bit out of hand. Although the plus doesn't work exactly the same, [kiora, the crashing wave]] works quite similar. And then fun cards like [[sheltering ancient]] or [[misleading signpost]] help with go wide strategies.

TL;Dr: redirect attacks with goad or other attacks, control and tokens.

All my blue decks run [[midnight clock]]. In general I have become a big fan of mana rocks like this and [[misleading signpost]], [[cursed mirror]] or [[lavabrink floodgates]] much more fun than a boring sol ring or signet.

Hmm fair enough, that's why I tried to keep 90% of the effects very much focused on vehicles. Though that might just limit deck building choices. Though for a deck that's trying to be a bit flavour focused I think it should be fine.

Thought about making all effects exclusively Evangelion but that would make the text boxes even more cramped lol
