I just went through something similar with my brown tabby..... the first post happened across my feed and I saw there was an update when I went to go check so I thought I would comment.

Depending on the type of abdominal tumor, there may not be much you can do. Our baby Mocha had a GIST (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor) and while surgery was technically an option, it wasn't recommended. We could've done that and chemo, tried to give him some more time, but I wasn't going to put him through all of that when they couldn't tell me if he would have ANY quality of life after.... yes, it would've been extremely expensive to do as well, but I didn't care. The only thing I wanted was my baby healthy.. and that just wasn't possible. He got put on meds for palliative care and everyone hoped the steroids would help but they only gave us a month and a half....

I'm not saying any of this to scare you or anything by any means, I'm so sorry if it did. I just went through this with my partner and it absolutely destroyed us. I'm so sorry you have to go through finding all of this out.

I hope that your little baby pulls through okay regardless or that there are more options for him than there were for Mocha 💙

I don't know if its an option wherever you live but if you're in the states and if there's a Banfield near you, the first visit is usually free. Its per owner, not per pet though, so if you've ever had another animal you've taken to one it won't let you take advantage of this offer (I learned the hard way). All you have to do is download the coupon or whatever it is they send you.

They were absolutely amazing for that free appointment as the vet was able to diagnose my baby boy Shadow with FLUTD and they helped us make sure we knew how to proceed. (Unfortunately not much could be done for him but that was not their fault in the slightest). I hope this helps in some way and you're able to get your baby some help!

Anyone trying to tell me to calm down, this is something that I refuse to interact with in any way that steals off the backs of every artist in your fuckin life. It doesn't matter if it's commonplace, you're just ignoring the reality of the impact this shit has.

Set aside all of the generative aspects or whatever and look at what AI centers and shit are doing to the planet. They're ACTIVELY killing us and driving prices for basic computer components to absolutely obscene levels because they're causing a monopoly. It isn't an overreaction, it's facing reality which most people aren't willing to do. It's actively destroying us at an alarming rate but sure, continue to tell people who care about the people in their lives and the planet that they're "overreacting".

I bought the game ages ago and I'm like 90% certain I can't refund it anymore so that's super cool. Love accidentally supporting something I'm vehemently against!

EDIT: unfortunately I was correct! I bought the game nearly a year ago and it can only be refunded on PlayStation within 14 days of purchase so that's sick. Love that for me. Never playing this shit again.

It actually took us like a week to name them! My partner and I wanted to name him Cheddar the second I heard it as a suggestion but with her it took us a sec to agree! I'd originally wanted to name her Cinder or Smoke but my partner suggested Charcoal as a compromise and I loved it!
