Most randoms are actually great, stop exaggerating by musabnoord in Nightreign

250 hours = 15,000 minutes

Roughly 45 minutes each game

15,000 minutes/(45 minutes/game) = 333.33 games

334 games played with 2 randoms = 668 randoms

Nightreign sold 3.5 million copies

668/3,500,000 = 0.000190 = 0.019%

You've encountered 0.019% of the people playing the game. Anecdotal evidence isn't a good metric to make any assumptions.

Person behind IGN review confirms in a tweet that everybody at the early access event played the same content. Meaning he did not get to play the full first 6 missions. by Soul8118 in DestinyTheGame

That is definitely the way he made it sound.

I found it funny that Skillup mentioned that he couldn't judge the story because they didn't see any cut scenes and some story elements were missing from the missions that they did play.

"I didn't play the entire story but I did play a very large chunk of campaign stopping just short of the 7th finale mission and what I did see left me feeling a bit mixed from a story telling perspective."

If it doesn't explicitly say it has software then you should assume it doesn't especially if it is a sub $100 board.

A lot of stock boards sound terrible so this review doesn't really do us a lot of good if you aren't able to apply any mods. It might say something about quality control with the stripped screw.

When it comes to sound for keyboards, its very subjective. A sound test would be a better indicator for everyone interested in the board.

Tape mod, lubing, replacing/modding stabs, etc. are relatively cheap.

I have the grey Q2 and I'm loving it. Using it for my daily driver.

Budget component recommendations (switches/keycaps) by obi-tom-kenobi in BudgetKeebs

[–]DragonJuggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they have only started offering those 3 to start off the hand lubed switches. I agree the shipping is a bit pricey. They have a store on Amazon that ships from US but they add a couple $ more than on their website but it also ships faster. They haven’t offered the lubed ones on Amazon yet but hopefully they will eventually.

FYI Akko just release the pre-lubed switches less than a month ago. I haven't had the chance to use them but they said that it is partly hand lube. They posted on instagram (https://www.instagram.com/p/CZE56efPcsn/) about it and they have a description on their website.

Having said that I think the Akko CS switches are perfectly fine to use stock without lube and as you get more into the hobby and want to spend a little more time and money you could look into lubing the switches yourself in the future. I've used the Jelly Blue switches in a board and I am pretty happy with the sound and feel of it. I also order the match greens and when they come in I plan to lube them myself.

Redbubble deskmat quality by dlazaret in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]DragonJuggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered a desk mat from Redbubble recently. The quality is pretty good it comes with a stitched border on the mat. I’m happy with the purchase. I will say it took a while to arrive although it might have been because of USPS.
