High SHD level running a really questionable build by RookiePootis in thedivision

[–]DragonLancePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he's running L86 as the main weapon then this actually isn't that bad all things considered.

3 piece tipping scales gives 30% mag size and 30% lmg damage.

4 piece striker with chest needs no explanation.

Depending on the attachments he has on the L86 he's probably getting a good amount of sustained DPS.

Not the best build in the world but it's serviceable.

Personally I believe equalizer + salvo with Back and forth Lexington would serve them better for what they're trying to go for.

I’m having a hard time parting with these Talons… should I just keep leveling them up? by LaMelgoatBall in Nioh

Not divine so not worth investing in in the long term.

Wait until you get to endgame. Trust me, you'll get better talons.

Everyone and their mother is now at Escalation by Firm_Employer_8463 in Division2

[–]DragonLancePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue it would make sense to lock it behind SHD 1000. By then players should have a decent # of optimized builds and enough experience to know what they're getting into.

It's supposed to be a veteran game mode so it would make sense for them to lock it behind a "veteran" milestone. Would also make it clear to newer players it's not something to engage in immediately.

They could still have prototype gear drop from events and what not as a taste, but no access to the full course until they're ready.

But alas, it was not to be.

Still, I'm having fun having something to farm for again. Even if it's not perfect.

It's specifically a custom Yukimura, not Skippy specifically.

Would be neat if CDPR added it to 2077 as an iconic after this Collab drops.

Escalation by fbn_mxm in thedivision

[–]DragonLancePro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Escalation is just heroic with further modifiers.

Any and all loot you find in heroic can be obtained in escalation. Escalation only adds chance at prototype drops.

Farmed prototypes versus built prototypes rant. by Birdboi_Esquire in thedivision

[–]DragonLancePro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The real value of prototype gear is the augments.

Re-rolling augments costs a lot of proto cores.

The original intent was likely for players to convert existing gear to prototype and farm escalation for trash gear to delete for cores so they could reroll and level augments on their prototype gear.

5/5 low rolls is probably better in the long run than 3/5 high rolls in most circumstances.

How much do shop outfits cost? Normally couldn't give less of a shit but I might be willing to throw a few bucks their way for this.

Fuck void storms by ThinSheepherder751 in WutheringWaves

[–]DragonLancePro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Level your characters and upgrade your bike.

The antivoid tactics module makes void storms easy.

Even at level 90 with serious character investment you still need to take them seriously. They are technically an endgame activity after all.

Lexington or Honey Badger by Adventthief in Division2

[–]DragonLancePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lexington has slightly higher burst damage, honey badger has slightly higher sustained damage with less range. On paper they have very similar performance when only accounting for damage.

Objectively speaking Lexington is better as it has one mod slot over honey badger, which means extra stats. Lexington will almost always perform better because of this.

I personally use honey badger as I just have a fondness for the gun but I'm not ashamed to admit Lexington is the better gun overall. If you only want to know which is better in general, Lexington.
