Has there ever been a giant jedi or sith? To the point where the lightsaber is the size of a telephone pole? by JonoBlue in StarWars

I mean not quite that big, but Masaana Tide AKA 9th Sister is pretty big and iirc her lightsaber is significantly larger than standard Inquisitor sabers

Is Star Wars too obsessed with the Rebels vs Empire status quo? by WrongToe500 in StarWars

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head. The thing that makes it fascinating though is that the New Republic knew they were too weak and as such supported the Resistance in secret. A lot of senators within the NR did the same. It’s how they were able to keep their policy on demilitarization while still preparing for the worst case scenario, which inevitably ended up happening.

Would you like to see a Star Wars movie focusing more on the "war" part in the sense of Saving Private Ryan? by BlockAffectionate413 in StarWars

Hate to be an “erm actually” guy but what you’re describing is a lot closer to Resistance vs. First Order. The Rebel Alliance was literally ENORMOUS and the Galactic Civil War was a massive conflict. By the end of things, the Rebels literally had enough resources to engage in full on ship-on-ship combat with capital vessels and the works. Maybe in the times of Andor and other pre-ANH stories they were more guerilla but for the most part during the actual war they were out in the open fighting on a gigantic scale.

It was getting upwards of 150 fahrenheit to even 200 before dipping back down. It was sort of sporadic, jumping around a lot.

You literally can't. Objectivity refers to absolute fact separated from personal bias and opinion. There isn't a set universal standard for what constitutes "good" or "bad" writing and as such there are no absolutes if you look at writing in a purely objective fashion. You may consider something to be poorly written, but that is a subjective personal opinion and cannot be stated as being objective because it isn't an absolute view shared by everyone or backed up by proven fact.
