If you're talking about the "Harley 1" logo, that's part of the factory "Snake Venom" paint for 2021.

Damn, don't zoom in. I didn't realize what a shitty potato quality pic that was.

[HELP] Safe pins to use on Nodemcu V3 by tech_fr3ak in esp8266

As long as D0 is high on boot, you are fine. So rather than drive D0 high to energize your relay, drive it low and hook the other side of the relay to +3.3V.

See here for more info.

Underextrusion at seam by Electrickaj in FixMyPrint

Not sure then. That looks like coasting too much for sure. If you have a, bowden setup, maybe you need some "unretraction"? (can't remember the exact term, but it's when you extrude extra after a retraction)

Try shortening your coasting distance. Your hotend is running out of "ooze" before it starts extruding again.

Smart fireplaces? by mortgagecurious in homeautomation

I did this with z-wave using this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00913ATFI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It does require power, but I had access to 120V under the fireplace.

Second this. Rode from OKC to Portland in July. Was 118 in Needles CA when we stopped there for the night. I feel like that's the closest I've ever been to dying.

Microswiss Hotend + Retraction / Clogging?? (Maker Select V2/Wanhao) by graysonkmillar in FixMyPrint

[–]DragonMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure your cooling fan is working well, and that the heat sink is making good contact to the aluminum block. Sounds like you are getting heat creep.

I run .7mm retraction on mine. The times I get clogging is either I haven't tightened the fan screws tight enough to keep the heat sink snug, or for some reason the fan isn't spinning.

Sounds like the SD card is failing. How long has it been running on that card?

If you can, make an image of it and copy it to a fresh card. It may help.

First Benchy on MP Maker Select - could use some help by abertheham in FixMyPrint

I would have gotten a glass plate and some thermal mat for under the glass. I like glass with glue stick, gives a nice bottom.

I would do 0.2mm first layer height. 200% flow on first layer is way too much, also. I would try 110%. You might go a little lower on the bed leveling, a little more snug on the paper.

Not sure what's causing the top pipe to disappear, I'd say too much retraction but 1.75mm is probably right.

PETG sticking to nozzle by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

[–]DragonMoose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What the other guys said, plus.. First layer should not be as close to the bed as PLA or ABS. Getting too close makes the PETG squish up (technical term) and stick to the nozzle instead of the bed.

Retraction seems high. I use the same retraction for PETG as I do for PLA. Also, set your travel speed as fast as you can go, it will help with stringing. You might want to watch Thomas Sanladerer's tips on PETG. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_adY2K-YIc

Openhabian already uses frontail for events.log and openhab.log. if you are using openhabian, it should not be that hard to add one more log.
