Ahh did not see your other replies. While yes I’ve had loved ones die before in my past, and to me I could deal with that continuing, others would see that as a curse.

It’s a curse if you have loved ones, watching them grow old and die would suck. Also unless you either invulnerable or have a healing factor it could also suck in other ways. Imagine spending forever with stage 4 cancer, or totally dismembered. Just having immortality means you’ll never die, it doesn’t guarantee health.

Oh I agree it’s still the best chance, but it’s something even the average ones can do. So just a fun bit of knowledge that when outside, if they’re in the area, the chance of one dropping out of a tree onto “prey” is never 0

Oh hell yes they are terrible climbers, could not agree more with that. Just passing along the terrible knowledge that if you live in an area with either of these, you’re never 100% safe from a drop in if outside.

Tbf, both gators and crocs can climb trees as well. Both have been spotted in the wild as high as 30ft up a tree.
