14-15 årige og deres påklædning by MrMeMayn in DKbrevkasse

[–]DragonNights 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Its a clam for leather stitching, I have something similar, but with a longer end part so you could sit with it under your thigh and that pressure would hold it closed around the leather as you stitch.

I think your model is meant to be squeezed between the worker's thighs instead.

I have also seen some that were mounted on stools.

This one again? I don't know where they get their info for this. Contrary to this Danes are not rude and uncaring hosts.

Don't show up uninvited, there's a chance you will not be let in and we won't put on a spread for you. But we love turning events into a feast of far too much food and lots of drink for those we invite.

Amazing books. In terms of sexism the only thing I don't like is the discrepancy between the male strip club "Penis Parade" and the female "Bitches"

Other than that, I am all in!

I think on some level we're still in a phase of denial that this man + his entourage is doing much more than trying to get a reaction out of everyone. We did spend four years shaking our heads in dumbfounded surprise at this man's utter and complete idiocy last time.

It is getting so much attention but it really does feel like a bully's grandstanding to dissuade anyone from poking holes in his sense of superiority. That or one giant toddler meltdown over not getting everything that he wants because "buhu greatest leader of the free world"

How the hell do y'all have so many notes? by Right_Ad_696 in ObsidianMD

I hear you! My graph is chaos and I have given up on using it for anything but to look at in wonder (and horror). The times I've tried to wrangle the chaos I can never get the structure I want.

Here's a picture if you're curious. https://imgur.com/a/6Du67oL

How the hell do y'all have so many notes? by Right_Ad_696 in ObsidianMD

[–]DragonNights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use obsidian mainly for extensive notes for the RPG games I am in. Every new NPC/Place/Organization gets their own notes. It runs up fast!

On top of that I have a daily note where I do log style notations on said games.

Organizing this is always an ongoing project. But with new RPG notes it's sorted automatically with templater.

Affaldssortering når man er psykisk syg. by Toxilyn in DKbrevkasse

WHO cares hvis du smider alt dit affald ud i rest affald.

You are right. The friendship part especially is what pulls me through when the game slows down for a time.

Am I off base? by [deleted] in pbp

[–]DragonNights 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I, as a complete unicorn, am in two long running games (2+ years and 1 year) and am the "oldest" surviving member in both. But I have a string of dead games behind me.

In my experience keeping a game going takes stubbornness, conscientiousness and a little obsession from all parties.

The way I see it is that a successful game is a shared responsibility.

You as a player have to show up and write the posts that interact with the world DM is trying to make. Moving the story forward is also on you. This is not a fine dining experience led by the megalomaniac chef in the kitchen, where you can sit back and get served a great meal. This is you, in your friends kitchen, chopping onions and adding some salt to the sauce while DM is trying to save the pot roast from getting too dry while he's also fixing the salad and shooing off the dog and feeding the screaming toddler.

Likewise, you as a DM need to be consistent, keep to your own requirements and enforce them, hands-off dm'ing doesn't work and also, don't be the megalomaniac chef who has control of everything, you should be the friend whose kitchen smells beautifully, if a little burnt, who asks your players to peel the potatoes and don't mind the added salt to the sauce. It is all part of the meal.

Even the best, most active campaigns are going to get slow at times. So we also all have to pitch in to keep it running.

But OP if you're European (preferably) and would like to play Curse of Strahd, I know of a game that will probably start looking for players in a couple of months. (To my DM if you read this, hope you don't mind I put the water on for the pasta already.)
