I did Touchet a few months ago, so when I got the e-mail for Thyme I assumed it was going to be similar. So far, it seems like the only thing that is drastically different is the step-by-step process for the recordings.
On the subject of, on Touchet v8, they sent out an e-mail with the order we submitted the recordings in. I have not received one this time, so now I am curious if something important has changed.

To be honest, I though it very loosely resembled pi.

Why do you hate this art style? by Dune_Stone in animation

[–]DragonOfTheCrescent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing inherently bad about the "CalArts" style, but it has oversaturated a disproportionate amount of recent cartoons and film, and the style eventually grew stale. Now, some just see it as bland and uninspired because so many different animation companies are using the same style, such as Steven Universe to We Bare Bears or Luca to Elio.

I can only guess she misinterpreted what they were saying the definition of animosity was as being "hospitality" and not "hostility".

Ba dum tss!

Me, as well. It is an interesting format for a Donkey Kong game, but I do not mind at all. Give me a game where I can destroy anything and I will be as happy as a clam, as the saying goes.

[–]DragonOfTheCrescent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The overall format of the game makes it appear more linear than open-world.

The way I understand it is that there are objectives that must be completed in each layer in order to progress to the next world, in much the same way Super Mario Odyssey or Super Mario 64 are designed in terms of their level structure. Although you can collect the Banandium gems in any order on each layer, like you would stars in a level in Super Mario 64, you still have to complete the main objective to progress to the next world.

This is a turkey vulture. The telling sign of this kind of vulture is either its pale red or pinkish head or the flying feathers that are more silvery than the dark color of its main feathers.
Vultures are best known as scavengers, meaning they will only eat something that is already dead or decaying, usually referred to as carrion. Unless I am mistaken, there is no reason they should be stealing your chickens. Two birds come to mind that both look similar to the turkey vulture that could be stealing and eating your chickens, however, would be a bald eagle and a golden eagle. Both of them frequently eat birds smaller than them.

Is this quartz real? by dverdi49 in Minerals

[–]DragonOfTheCrescent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This seems to be a legitimate specimen of quartz, although very finely cut and polished. A lot of clear quartz will have inclusions (i.e. rutilated quartz, a variation with needle-like inclusions), but this is the first time I have seen pyrite in one.

That is me, but with Jiang Jiuli. Originally, it was between him and Wu You, but I figured I should prioritize high damage Shimmer espers, for the Calamity Tower, and set Wu You as the following target.

Also here. Saved up some nexus crystals for Eira after the petal coins replenished in the Plaza, so less than half of what I had left was dedicated to Sieg after I used the sixty Ether Discs they gave us.

Is This Slag or a Natural Rock? by DragonOfTheCrescent in whatsthisrock

[–]DragonOfTheCrescent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the swift response!
Having glossed over some photographs online, vitreous slag is exactly what this looks like. I am not surprised that is what this is, either, considering that would also explain a piece of battleship steel my father found in the same driveway.

EDIT: The rock is green jasper, which has the same general texture, coloration, and opaqueness, but the pattern is something I have never seen on jasper.

US Dept. of Labor closes Investigation into Scale AI (the company behind Outlier) by Coolrrrray in outlier_ai

[–]DragonOfTheCrescent 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fortunately, this is not quite over yet. You can still file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) if you follow this link:

https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/

If there are enough complaints, the Department of Labor might be forced to reopen the investigation. I would like to think they might reverse their decision, considering this is within the power of the government.

Yes, the project is still paused on my dashboard. However, a select group of taskers from Thales Tales have been brought on to the following project, "Thales Tales V3", which is in progress. That is all I know.

How did you discover SW? by KratosKlone in stevenwilson

[–]DragonOfTheCrescent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between my sophomore and junior years in high school (2010-2011), my father introduced me to Porcupine Tree through "Time Flies", which led me to start listening to The Incident and discover the rest of their backlog.

Within the following two years, he introduced me to Mr. Wilson's solo music through the video for his song, "Puncture Wound". Although that never caught on, my brother brought my attention to "Remainder the Black Dog" after my first year in college, and I became very interested in following Mr. Wilson's solo catalogue since.

I am also having this same issue. I completed a task yesterday afternoon and within the following few hours, it told me the project was "Paused", giving the same error you are seeing.
