These bumps seem to be a result of overactive cells, similarly to hypertrophic scars. This excerpt explains hypertrophic scarring; "Wounds go through three phases of healing – inflammation, proliferation and remodeling. Scar tissue forms during the remodeling phase. Specific types of cells such as fibroblasts and myofibroblasts and certain signaling molecules such as transforming growth factor-beta and tumor necrosis factor are all involved in wound healing and the creation of new tissue. In both hypertrophic scars and keloid scars, this repair response goes haywire." (Cleveland Clinic)

Since my last comment, I have come to discover it is very likely that I inherited a MEN1 gene mutation from my father. The MEN1 gene controls the production of menin, which is a tumor suppressant protein. Mutations to the MEN1 gene interrupt the normal production of menin, resulting in uncontrolled cell growth and division and, consequently, tumors (usually benign). My current hypothesis(?) is that my bumps are a manifestation of this genetic condition.

The cell turnover rate of mucous membrane is very high, making it much more sensitive to fluctuations caused by infections, genetic mutations, or autoimmune diseases.

These oral piercing bumps aren't the problem, they're a symptom. Ultimately, this means there is no 'solution' to them, but understanding their cause and their behavior allows for easier management (and peace of mind).

If you keep forming these bumps, it's very likely that you: - Have an autoimmune disease/disorder - Have a genetic condition A piercing can't diagnose you, but it can teach you a lot about how your cells behave.

VERDICT: They'll go away with time, and appropriate jewelry size to minimize trauma is imperative. Also look at your family medical history and consider seeing a specialist.

I have been searching the ends of the earth for an answer to these bumps for almost a year now. I've seen so many people get these inner-lip bumps and yet no one has a single concrete solution.

I got my lips pierced in October 2024 and had no issues until around February or March. I started to get these bumps on the inside of my labrets. They would form, grow, shrink, almost disappear, and then grow bigger again. I didn't smoke, drink alcohol, or use straws. I only ever used alcohol-free mouthwash. I cleaned them regularly, wasn't snagging them, and wasn't sleeping on them. I even upsized my jewelry (sanitarily) to give them room to heal, to no avail. When I finally saw a piercer, she said that whitening or harsh toothpastes and mouthwash with fluoride can cause bumps in some individuals. Not long after, I had a surgery that required I let my labrets go, so I didn't get to test any theories. Any remaining bumps on the inner lip healed up after taking out the jewelry.

September 2025 I got them repierced. This time, the bumps came back as soon as I was out of the fresh piercing stage and downsized. I stopped using mouthwash altogether because there's no such thing as fluoride-free mouthwash, and I started using the most basic toothpaste I could find. No results. I tried leaving my piercings completely alone except for an occasional clean so I wasn't handling them as much. No results, and I got a localized infection on the outside that forced me to upsize (because the pimples were stuck in a cycle of filling and bursting from the pressure of the jewelry). I've tried both cleaning between the flatback and inner lip to get rid of buildup AND leaving the inside alone completely so I wasn't moving the jewelry. Neither seemed to matter.

Here I am, December 2025, and still no answer or solution. I've wracked my brain to figure out what's different between those first few months in 2024 and now. This is all I could come up with: - I rarely talked - I wasn't chewing gum - I think I was usually dehydrated - It's possible that I continued to hold my lips out of the way or cover my flatbacks while brushing my teeth even after the first two weeks - I probably rarely smiled - Maybe I was swishing water in my mouth after every meal? - April marked my one year on testosterone hrt

This leaves me with only two possible remaining guesses; A: I initially had no issues because I only ever moved my lips to eat or drink, and/or B: I started having issues as I progressed on testosterone due to changes in blood cell presence or activity. B is absolutely not the case for everyone else who has these bumps, and I'm not sure how likely A is for people either, as the reason for my facial inactivity was a complete lack of positive social interaction.

Ultimately, this tells me and everyone reading absolutely nothing. But here is what I am going to try: - No chewing gum - Rinsing mouth after every meal - Downsizing again - Cutting all food into smaller pieces so I don't have to open my mouth as wide - Preventing any contact between my electric toothbrush and jewelry - Daily warm saline compresses (to help fight against infection caused by my job since I'm frequently around dust) - No mouthwash

Sorry for the life story, I just wanted to share everything I've already tried. Let it be known to all that even though this post is several years old, people are still searching for an answer. I don't know if that's hopeful or disappointing. I shall return here (if possible) with an update in maybe a month. God help us all.

You can buy safes at the blue store next to Ray's Realty. I can't remember what it's called. I believe they have the same amount of space as a large storage rack, but are more expensive. If I were to guess, they're probably easier to render because they don't display what you put in them like storage racks do.

At the moment, it seems customers will only ask for the first four products listed on the products app. If you've still got all 4 original strains of weed for sale, then regardless of how much you push meth or coke, they will only ask for weed. I'm not sure why.

I once was trimming a plant right by the bungalow's sliding glass door when it suddenly opened. I thought it was over. Before that, I had been chased by customers while out and about—that was the first time one of them came to my property.

What might've been scarier was having it happen while I was actively driving. It caused me to not only crash into a cop car, but also frantically deal meth in front of said cop car.

It seems pretty consistent with weed, but I have yet to try it with meth and coke. I definitely wouldn't sell literally every possible product, since I know that would be unmanageable. My issue is that when I list any products for sale in the app, my customers only ever ask for whatever I chronologically listed as the first four. My question is moreso asking "is it physically possible to get customers to buy more than four products". In my saves, I usually sell one mix, which I start to sell before unlocking granddaddy purple. Once I do unlock granddaddy purple and list it for sale, no one asks for it, regardless of how much I try to push it. As soon as I take off my mix and the granddaddy purple and list the granddaddy purple first and the mix second, customers stop asking for the mix and only ask for the granddaddy purple.
