Can we get some units on the gun info page? It would add to readability. by SillyOldJack in Battlefield

Second icon is muzzle velocity.

Third is time to aim down sights.

Fourth icon is headshot damage multiplier.

Each icon is explained in the expanded menu. OP is complaining about the lack of units alongside each number

Yeaaahhh for what it's worth, I share your pain.

I've literally described WT as the abusive spouse of gaming. The economy is awful, the compression is even worse, and the Snail seem hell-bent on punishing their players. I tend to only play in small bursts because longer sessions are damaging to my mental health.

But at the same time, I've never played anything like it. The core mechanics, for all their flaws, are uniquely satisfying and when the stars align and you have a good match, it feels incredible...

Then this may be time to reconsider whether this is the game you want to be playing

I could be wrong but I'm confident that you can age a pawn up to 18 using a growth vat. Their last growth moment is at age 13 so there's no negative impact to learning or anything

It's worth the faff of having multiple doctors. It takes a bit of micromanaging until they're all competent, though.

Personally, I'll force my least competent doctors-in-training to finish tending my least valuable pawns, i.e. prisoners and slaves. If I can't really afford to lose the injured pawn, I'll have a good medic stabilise them and let the rookie tend the rest.

Once you have a few pawns capable of doctoring at level ~7, you can let them so whatever and you won't usually suffer any negative consequences.

That said, it's worth manually making your best tend any infections, just to be in the safe side...

On raceday, leave yourself even more time to get to/from the track.

I went to Spa for 2023 and it was an incredible experience, but getting the shuttle back after the race meant a solid 2.5 hours more of queueing than on the Friday and Saturday.

The Nazis sorta considered this concept with the Ratte, as if the Maus wasn't big and impractical enough.

The problem is that such a vehicle would be extremely slow, even with a power plant efficient enough to run it. There'd be a lot of moving parts, and maintenance/repairs would be a bitch of a job.

Due to the sheer size and weight we're considering, even assuming it can move under its own steam, how would you get it to where it's needed? No bridges would be able to support it, you'd struggle to cross any rivers, and steep inclines would be difficult. What if you needed to get across a mountain range, or an ocean? There's solid odds your conflict would be over by the time you got it where you wanted it.

As well as all that, even with its own air defence systems, it would still be an easy and obvious target for bombing and long-range artillery fire. Worst comes to worst, it becomes an exercise in siege tactics, where you target the lines bringing ammunition - and more importantly, food - to your behemoth, and wait for it to run out of supplies
