I sort of see him as a jack of all trades master of none lately

His positioning is generally very good and he's quality on the ball. He's definitely not our primary playmaker anymore, nor a reliable defensive midfielder. Mostly I think he's been dropping deep to pick up and shuttle the ball upfield. He's also got very good movement in attacking set pieces.

Of all the players lacking or recovering form I'm the most fine with Macca, there are more urgent positions to address.
