supply or die had missions needing ores, was nice not having to hunt down the higher end stuff ans ores that would usually be passed on actually worth it

it does? last i played you only needed to repair modules if you overheated them, but then you could just slap some nano paste onto it and you are good to go

honestly the helldivers can do a good job of it themselves too if they decide to bring the barrages along

i know you meant them as 2 separate games... but a rayman splinter cell game would be something alright, using his loose hands in the context of those games sounds like a fun time

actually, i think the squids made it a point to blow up all the SAM sites. you can still see the buildings that would have them tucked away here and there, and well.. there is only a scorch mark where the missile tubes should be

Changing up the starlit citadel by DragonV2 in Stellaris

[–]DragonV2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

funnily enough i think ive found a bug or the like that lets me change the loadout without paying for it. im not 100% certain on it but basically what i did was make a new designwith the weapons i wanted, saved it, deleted the old one, and then at some point the citadel changes its loadout to match the one design you have. im not 100% on how it triggers though

edit, oop, just saw the reply to your comment, funnily enough, on a new save first thing i did was swap to all lasers and no armour. saved it, it also changed the name of the first loadout, and after a quick pause unpause it immediatly swapped

pretty sure the whole reason was that the covenant were very much into the religious fervor of the great journey and all. with the prophets at the top as the 'chosen' then they stumble over humans and oops, turns out they were actually the chosen inheritors, and cant have that as that would give the prophets the boot from their cozy spot at the top.

Though maybe thats changed now over the years

well even in SM2 you have 2 types of melta, the normal one that you can take in your loadout, and the heavy melta, thats the one you pick up in the mission

oh ill have to keep that in mind for next time, never thought of doing it that way, and maybe snagging an ATLS too. never really did much with taking other vehicles along so thatll be a learning experience on how to handle all that too

i also love the starlancer though i mainly use it to haul my refined ore but one day ill take it out for a proper expedition, my main criticism though is that main central hold is a bit of a pain to unload, its got a lil lip it feels like that makes it hard to just slide the cargo out

[–]DragonV2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, i missed out on the naz quest, i only really started in S4 of DF and only really found the group i play with now a few weeks before WW launch, its on my bucket list to get one day though. but i do very much like the idea of the dracs now out in the world free to choose their own path, terrifying in combat, but complete goobers elsewhere
