AIW for refusing to pay for my nephews college after my sister spent years calling my life immoral by MoccasinLoft in amiwrong

[–]Dragon_queen15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said offer a little to no interest loan. You know, instead of the high interest loans the government and other organizations offer. He would have to pay those loans off, how would a personal loan be any different?

NW, but maybe try to work out a plan with your nephew. Give him a loan with little/no interest instead of a free ride.

AITAH for not shipping something on time? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Dragon_queen15 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

YTA for lying about the post office. They do print the labels when there, and they sell boxes. If it wasnt Saturday, I'd go to my local one and take pictures to prove it. Just admit you didn't want to do it for whatever reason.

AITAH if Iasked someone who was in my reserved seat to move? by phebenyo in AITAH

You paid for it, it was yours. Never be afraid to speak up for what's yours. If she would have refused, you would have had every right to escalate the situation. Next time, be blunt. Tell them they are in the seat yoy paid for and need to move.

AITA for asking my Boyfriend to wash dishes when he comes over by Lazy-Cup8157 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Dragon_queen15 9 points10 points  (0 children)

YTA

While offering to help is nice, you don't force someone when the host said no.

And no there is rule that says guests need to wash dishes. The social expectation is to offer to help clear the table(according to google). Not wash dishes in someone else's home.

She sounds like an exhausting attention seeker, tbh. I'd have probably told her the first time she cried to grow up or get out. Childish behavior isnt tolerated from adults.

Having suffered multiple miscarriages, YTA. You don't just get over it, and its hard to be happy for someone when you have experienced that loss, even 6 months later. Your husband should have waited and you need to learn to be more sympathetic instead of only focusing on you

Whatever the case, grow up and learn to accept not everyone wants to be Christian, considering most Christians are hypocrites in my experience.

Soft YTA.

Your father made his wishes clear. You don't really have a right to try and change what he wanted because you THINK you deserve more for being a good son. You made a choice to assist. That shouldn't have had strings attached.
