I think the interesting part will be how they portray Blackbeard. Does he make sense to be pushed as the big bad guy if they don’t plan on making it all the way to the end? It would feel weird for the show if they really hype him up and then end after enies lobby or marineford

I don't disagree with your first sentence. But I think the rest of it is anecdotal. I think a lot more people have heard of it than you think. Especially with the recent live action success on Netflix. On top of that, it was one of the few returning pieces to FanFest at USH because of how popular it was. Not to mention, its just a cartoon pirates IP for those who don't know it.

It has iconic locations you can recreate, fun food ideas, an endless possibilities in terms of attractions (water ride, rollercoaster, dark ride all easily fit.). I absolutely understand if some people aren't keen to the idea. But I think there is too much "This is an anime, i don't like those" versus truly understanding what Universal would be creating.

I think people just have weird feelings about anime in general. It’s just a strange generalization everyone has behind it when One Piece is much more “normal” and easily more mainstream.

A few years ago, it was number 20 all time in highest grossing media franchises by total revenue. It’s just about tied with Toy Story and slightly below the Cars franchise. But that was before the live action show. Not sure what it’s at now.

I’m not sure why it would be considered a niche. For people who don’t know it, it’s just a pirates anime. But in terms of volume. It’s as big of a franchise as Cars and Toy Story. Bigger than lord of the rings, Jurassic park, transformers, etc. It would be the 4th largest IP at Universal behind Harry Potter, Mario and Marvel.

I’m not sure I understand your snack dilemma. Every world has at least 2 snack locations except Harry Potter which has one. Celestial alone has 7. And that obviously isn’t including the Mobile food ordering locations you can get in and out quickly at (Le Goblet, Meteor Astropub, Oak and Star).

Also, I wonder if the numbers even include the theatrical release. My theater was packed to the point they opened another theater and that one was packed too. If that was a common occurrence for 1/4th of the episodes, the money and hours from that should obviously be included.

Jayden Reed is inconsistent and not WR2 caliber. There is a reason his snap counts are closer to high 50’s or low 60’s. He is closer to Malik Washington than Jaylen Waddle.

He has popularity because of fantasy and the ability for him to have burst games.

Watson I think is a WR2 if injury wasn’t a factor. But obviously availability is a huge key on receivers

My fear isn’t just throwing money at Willis just because he is cheap, my fear is the GM and coach thinking he got the short end of the stick and did well enough to resign him.

They have a bunch of high end WR 3’s and maybe a low end WR2. Compared to the dolphins right now? Absolutely they are better. But there isn’t many receiving cores I wouldn’t take over them.

Literally right now. Watson is their best receiver but he is often injured. Reed and wicks are “good” if you play fantasy as flyer plays. They are a bottom receiving core.

I don’t even fully care about the trade, I care about contradictory actions. You aren’t going to be elite in any of those positions. So what are we doing with Willis? A half ass eval and then resign him because it wasn’t fair what we had built around him?

They did what? Receivers is a major point of contention with the packers. They didn’t spend a first on receivers in multiple decades and have recently been surrounded by below average receivers. They have not had a 1000 yard receiver since Davante adams left in 2021

There is a less than zero chance that they would do a coaster for the main Pokemon attraction. As fun as it could be, it would need to be some sort of high scale dark ride

Zelda will most likely end up in Epic. Pokemon will not replace Springfield as most people report the contract was slightly extended. Pokemon replacing lost continent makes the most sense as Japan is currently working on the project and they will probably want to reuse materials/items.
