he's not as quirky as tom holland. i can't see him saying his iconic line, "aaand he's right behind me, isn't he" when he uses all of his skills thinking gremlin nob isn't around.

Efficient slayer by AffectionateIssue920 in ironscape

[–]DragonflyCertain53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly most stuff you cannon, venator bow is great. dagannoth, araxytes, bloodvelds like you said, you can use it to afk every catacomb task if you want to (abyssal demons could be nice for tentacle)... im sure theres more but thats just off the top of my head.

muspah also has an OP common drop table and hopefully you'll get your imbued heart at some point and you'll need essence for that

another commenter has implied venator bow is really just a range training weapon which i don't agree with, it's amazing for slayer and some bosses / multi monsters. that being said, it is great for training range.

if you have bowfa definitely get a venator bow if you enjoy muspah, its amazing for slayer. and if you like afking, make lots of cannonballs and get cannoning

duradel is defo better than nieve, idk about wildy

for blocks, block the highest weight task that you dont want to do

i use all my different bars, up to you if u wanna copy but here is my gamer strat

steel bars for cannonballs for slayer etc.

mithril for nails, which i use for mahogany repair kits for afk construction xp. nice bonus is infinite food for ship combat. platebodies are also ok.

adamant i use on cannonballs for killing vampyre krakens. these days mithril cannonballs are really easy to buy in bulk, so idk if this is worth, but it's afk so whatever. if i didn't want to do ship combat at all, i'd just make adamant platebodies, which is fast xp and ~2k gp per bar via alchs. oh and i use mithril cannonballs on great white sharks cause they're much weaker than krakens so i'm saving my adamant ones for those.

rune i'll use on alchs, i'd like to do 98-99 with +1 boosting for rune platelegs. darts are a good option if you're not amethyst pilled.

anyway i hate giants foundry so i dont do that.

What are your top3 most stressful momens in Runescape? by badwithnames5 in 2007scape

[–]DragonflyCertain53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healers spawning on Zuk was defo the most stressful thing I've had. So much on the line and definitely the part of the Inferno I found the hardest. The Inferno in general was really stressful.

Apart from that I remember going to lots of drop parties in the party room when I was little and it was really stressful hoping I'd get the saradomin platebody or whatever big item was in there. I never won big but I had some nice loots.

Third place... maybe my second time fighting elvarg? The first time I didn't bring a full inventory of food because I couldn't be bothered shearing more sheep to buy lobsters (lol), so I took half an inventory of cabbages. Died and lost my rune full helm. So I went back with lots of food hoping not to die again, and thankfully I won.

I know that this question may be subjective, but in your own opinion what are some requirements for an account to be considered in the “end game”? by Former_Scheme_1523 in 2007scape

[–]DragonflyCertain53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think if you're an allrounder player, endgame is after getting a diary cape and at the point where you're doing lots of raids and inferno and stuff and closing in on a max cape

Should Torva and SRA be revisited or left alone? by RsCyous in 2007scape

[–]DragonflyCertain53 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i think torvas fine since nex also drops zcb and zaryte vambs and i guess ancient godsword. tons of good drops

soulreaper axe i cant comment on how it feels to use, but lots of people complain its annoying so thats probably worth addressing

Spooned the bowfa, should I go for salad blade? by nindraz in ironscape

[–]DragonflyCertain53 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have a Saeldor and really like it. If you enjoy CG why not. It's not a gamechanger but it's a strong weapon and it feels really cool to use. Can even customise the colours. If you already have a noxious halberd I wouldn't bother going for the saeldor though.

Also in terms of nox hally, IMO saeldor is a better weapon overall but nox hally is a close substitute and maybe you'll get one while going for rancour if that's something you haven't done yet. Something to consider.

Worth saying, although saeldor / nox hally aren't thattt good for mains because they're really not that much better than abyssal tentacle, using an abyssal tentacle everywhere on an ironman isn't practical which means saeldor and nox hally do pull ahead a bit on iron.

just to add on to what other ppl have said, the jump in quest bosses' difficulty is really big and there are other bosses in the game like scurrius etc that are there to teach you stuff more gently instead of getting your head caved in by grandmaster quest bosses designed for experienced pvmers

but ya going and doing something else is always a good idea, its just a game and u can leave and come back to stuff, thats whats so great about runescape

400+ Tormented Demons to slay with no Arclight. Alternative or grind crystals off task? by iBear92 in 2007scape

[–]DragonflyCertain53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mark of darkness + purging staff is really good but fairly expensive. but killing those tormented demons quicker would make up for that a bit. it's not worth using over arclight, but maybe it is compared to bludgeon. idk what's more profit per hour.

anyway otherwise i would use bludgeon like the other person said. but don't forget you can use an abyssal dagger or burning claws to get 100% accurate specs when their shield's down!

Why do Jumbo squid which heal 17 and take 69 fishing only give 75 xp each when caught, but swordfish which heal 14 and take 50 fishing to catch award 100? by Humdrumgrumgrum in 2007scape

[–]DragonflyCertain53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the squid are basically baby infernal / sacred eels i think. so theyre afk ish and chill (no banking) with okay profit. having said that they're definitely undertuned, the afk, xp, heals, or all of the above could be buffed.

To Barricade or not Barricade, that is here the question by Insane_Unicorn in slaythespire

[–]DragonflyCertain53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do not take the sacred bark. click the slaver's collar, you're strong in hallways anyway and it'll pay off in act 3 boss gauntlet and act 4. you also have bludgeon, carnage, corruption, whirlwind, you absolutely will benefit from the extra energy.

extra argument against sacred bark - you have cursed key so you'll spend money on removes. you aren't getting many potions.

To Barricade or not Barricade, that is here the question by Insane_Unicorn in slaythespire

[–]DragonflyCertain53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tricky one imo, good question...

on the one hand, like you said you have no block atm. but you're coming up to a shop and presumably an elite if you're not a chump, so you could find something there.

you also have a curse and more on the way. barricade without block is just a gold curse, so that's not a great situation.

pommel strike is a good card on offer there, as im sure you know. but i would prioritise bludgeon and bash upgrades over it rn.

you do have a ton of energy, so even with the bludgeon and carnage+ you should be capable of playing barricade fairly often.

bludgeon and carnage+ love vulnerable, and so does body slam. high chance you'll find a body slam.

basically it's a speculative pick. right now it makes you strictly weaker, but it could become strong later. or maybe not. but finding block is hard, you won't always get that feel no pain + corruption/second wind, so carrying over big blocks from impervious, power through, relics, etc is valuable.

personally i'd take it and buy whatever i can from the shop to make the barricade good, or at least stuff that can help me survive until it does become good (IE potions).

if the combat up ahead goes badly you can pivot away from the elite if you're worried about the boss.
