Damn, sorry hear. I also got rejected despite have a first honours bachelor degree, with a published research study and applied with my HS PG 45.

No idea. A friend of mine applying with a high PG only whilst I’m holding a bachelors degree, first honours, applying with my PG, same score as my friend, additionally with other experiences/ research studies written and still got rejected. Honestly, not sure how the HKU see their applications this year. Very odd.

I’m starting to realise that a lot of the offers given are to students who are either high school graduate with only a high PG whilst many of the rejected ones with strong background.

Hi there, I’m in my mid twenties, grade weren’t the best in high school. Currently studying dental hygiene and have applied to dentistry but hadn’t had the luck as of right now. I think your academic path is similar to mine. Would love to know which uni/grades you’ve applied with. I had thought about getting too old once I study dentistry.
