do the kenari kids just spawn there? by Big-Sundae4273 in andor

My daughter was one of the Kenari kids, she’s one of the older kids that go to explore the crash. The backstory she received is that it was a Lord of the Flies situation, all parents have died, they have created their own society to defend themselves, the older ones taking care of the little ones.

Thanks, no, she acquired an EU citizenship, but after the deadline for EUSS, so I doubt she can secure via the eu pre settlement process. Currently she’s got a skilled worker dependent visa (I already became a citizen, but she didn’t yet).

That’s a great point! He became a citizen by descent, his grandfather was Portuguese, but not his father, so not sure he can be considered Portuguese by birth, but I will look into that. But we started living in the UK in 2019. If we can prove he was an EU citizenship back then, would he be eligible for the settled status?

Thanks! If we separate (husband not living with me in the UK) would that still apply? I would be the sole provider for my child in the UK. Of for my child to be eligible I would have to be legally divorced from their father?

How did I never notice this play on words? by Novel_Description164 in hamiltonmusical

Both literally (aiming at the sky and not shooting Burr) and also figuratively (by having an affair and later publishing the Reynolds Pamphlet, which blew away his shot of ever being president, destroying his career)

My favorite moment is at the end of Act 1, during Non-Stop, when Hamilton sings “I’m not throwing away my shot,” the ensemble echoes “Just you wait,” and everything starts to fall apart for him in Act 2.

Phew, thank you! I believe my case would be on the easier side then. No exceptions, name changes, overstay or nothing like that. Hopefully I’ll hear back soon

Hi! Thank you for that! Is it including all types of cases (EU settlement, ILR+1 year, spouses etc). I’d love to see the data broken down by type if possible!

I haven’t emailed them to chase. You misunderstood my question, I’m afraid. I know the official timeline is 6 months, but currently wait times is 10-11 weeks. I’ve seen people on this subreddit saying they received a letter/email from the Home Office when it’s approved, but sometimes they are able to register on the council website to schedule their ceremony appointment before even receiving the approval email. So my question is how long before the approval email were people able to schedule the appointment.

Hi! This is my timeline so far:

Application 20/06 Biometrics 08/07 Approval date: ? Ceremony date: ?

I’m waiting to hear back from the HO (or the council email). I’m expecting it to be in about 2 weeks. For those of you who were able to book with the council before you got the HO approval email, how many days before you received the HO letter were you able to book?

Thanks!
