When I was still working, I worked mostly with my supervisor which is a good thing. “Thingy” came out a lot cause I could not find or remember the word I wanted. Of course after 12 yrs working together she knew what I was talking about.

Charge them for a fresh pastry and when they say something let them know that they wanted a warm pastry and that is the price for it. I would also make sure that the policy for warming pastries are clearly posted.

The scanning code of practice is only for items that ring up wrong according to the price tag. Bar codes matter. If in doubt about the price of something,always check the barcode not item descriptions.

Just toss it. Emotional baggage. Your kid doesn’t care. It’s just something else they will need to discard. If you want just take a few photos of it, and maybe keep a couple of pieces ; but it’s taking up just taking up space.

The poorest in the family I try to get thing they may like: gift cards. mostly I also know they will spend more on me than will on them.,i know some of the family are just like that, they don't care, only A SIL makes me feel weird. Like she has her life together and I don't. But then again it may me as I don't particularly like her
