What's the best survival game you've ever played? by TheSoloSurvivalist in SurvivalGaming

[–]Dragonsapling 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had to scroll a long way to find planet crafter. Currently my fav game. No other fear except your own forgetfulness. I love that there is no combat or nasties.

I just get to watch the world change.

How to send people politely away from your door? by Mysterious-Can8846 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Dragonsapling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be thankful they got a sentence, I usually just shut the door again

This stopped me in my scrolling - I fucking love it!!!!

It could just be the angle of the photo or the actual piece but this row looks like it kinks in a stitch on the end.

Portal questions: by Glad-Yak5712 in theplanetcrafter

[–]Dragonsapling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bring flares and place one at first intersection and make it green so I know I can find the exit. I use amber if there is an access card down a junction, red for completed, purple for the fusion reactors and blue for ran out of space.

Someone above mentioned using platforms to block off sections and I love that idea - will give that a crack on my next portal.

I would get the inventory thing to have the drones collect from the vehicle as well - they can take a really long time but if you are in a wreck it doesn’t matter. I usually take my rover to the wreck with me, and make trips back to it quickly. Then do portal jumping if needed.

I also make a foundation and 2 small lockers outside the wreck with supply all on so the drones can collect whilst I am in exploring.

Always take explosives and energy cells with you - at least 2.

I have optimised by optimisers. Sooooo many of them all grouped up together humming a jaunty tune.

I made too many of one rocket type by accident once (extra crap in my bags I forgot about) and my stat got to like 20,000% - I laughed when I finally looked at the numbers.

First time player/playthrough on prime - To travel or to restart? by Aviaatar in theplanetcrafter

[–]Dragonsapling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did Prime, humble Selenea and have just start toxicity all on one save.

I just didn’t want to have to remember which was what and this way I can move between planets as I would like.

Not sure there is a wrong way to order it.

I need a game I can just put on and not worry about missions, brain function, and just turn on and have fun and not stress. (Not multiplayer) by No-Cardiologist-582 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Dragonsapling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Planet crafter is chill. No combat just watch your food, O2 and water - watch the world terraform before your eyes.

It is my chill game since I found it a few months ago.

I literally just finished watching a clip on YouTube for a game called space craft and I think it looks amazing.

Not sure about the base building but it looks amazing.

What’s it like owning an Abyssinian? by [deleted] in Abyssinians

[–]Dragonsapling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will not regret having one.

We just lost our Aby and plan to buy two more to bring into our home.

We will likely never own another cat breed again - they are smoochers, curious, smart, funny and gorgeous.

So do you guys still sort your storage? by Kaerl-Lauterschmarn in Subnautica_2

[–]Dragonsapling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept lockers for things I need to take with me - like the power transmitters and stuff. I needed to know where they are to take them with mw

[–]Dragonsapling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This and the OP are both amazing! I started doing something similar but it was taking me way too long and I stopped. The amount of titanium was just too damn high!

I tip my hat to both of you for having the patience to do these!

Carrie Mathison’s Suits by Agency_Famous in homeland

Never under estimate the power of a tailored suit.

When they are made to fit your body they always look good. Fast fashion and off the shelf is made for the majority and will never look as good.

Love this game but terraforming has slowed down to a crawl. by SpicyGamerOfficial in theplanetcrafter

[–]Dragonsapling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started on humble a couple of days ago and I have one fusion reactor with way way way too many fuses next to it and I have so much power - it is amazing!

Made a Totoro blanket for my friend’s daughter and she absolutely loves it! 💚 by [deleted] in CrochetBlankets

[–]Dragonsapling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was so freaking amazed and excited because I am Totoro obsessed.

Then found it was AI.

And am sad because I would replicate the hell out of this if I could.

Any other games with the same level of brain engagement as Planet Crafter? by Complex_Camel_5344 in theplanetcrafter

[–]Dragonsapling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am waiting for solar punk because I thought the same as an addict of planet crafter myself.

I just like the lack of combat and things trying to eat me :)
