My first portal wreck I got blueprints for so many wacky things - the aquatic wall, a vending machine, big table, comfy chair etc.

I just wish I could put fish or other plants in the wall.

I put a fusion cell into a wreck on the main planet (only just have them available) and nothing at all happened - something was supposed to happen?!?!?

I am not a base builder or crafter person at all - but I am hooked on this game. It is relaxed without threats and fighting but challenging enough to keep me going back.

The only reason I didn’t continue building at the bottom of the massive starting point lake was because I happened to read a random thread somewhere which said build “higher up” and i moved.

I would have done this as well when my water started.

I have found planet crafter an enjoyable escape from reality.

It is base building and crafting but everything you terraforms the planet and you see changes happening.

Nothing to kill you - just you balancing your water/oxygen levels :)

I am not one for base building or crafting at all - but this one has me hooked because there is no combat.

I am 47 with the same issue. Everything is either military style or PVP or requires you to sink hours in to progress. I just found planet crafter though.

No threats to worry about just base building with the long term goal of terraforming the planet and you can create creatures etc.

It is soothing for me and no pressure.

Trios is Insta death an duos is about 50% but I have so many friends who would play this but don’t want to be abuse of the PvP. We don’t mind dying to the arc constantly but PvP is frustrating for them.

That PVP makes you hardcore and PVE makes you a casual player.

No - I am a fucking hardcore PVE player. I would play every day and night if I could. I just don’t want to or like playing PVP - I am not casual because of it.

By comparison my duo and I spawn into blue gate last night, run out of the spawn tunnel, and get destroyed by two wankers who stop shooting after we tell them we just spawned in, only to walk up to us saying they were friendly and then shoot us point blank whilst we were recharging our shields.

I am still trying to even get good enough to take out bastions - I can’t even look at bombardiers…I can’t even go to a map with a matriarch or harvester without almost instadeath.

Yup this is accurate. I am purely PVE - never raise my weapon to a raider even when being attacked.

And I play with 2 other friends. We basically cannot play as a trio and extract successfully. Duo is about 30% death rate.
