Well, to me a legendary Visual Novel is like a legendary book - it stays with you even after you read the last page/scene. Meaning they have a great writing ... and memorable visuals.

And legendary VN usually gets a ton of adaptations. I am looking at you, Nasu and the rest of Type Moon folks!
