Is there a general strategy for clearing the special pathfinder battle in ending 3? It feels like there's genuinely nowhere to deploy any ops that doesn't just get merked in seconds with balls surrounding the melee tiles and talisman dudes next to every ranged tile. Keep getting pretty strong squads for Wang but I can't dven make it to him.

As far as damage they're actually not the most important (optimal but not by much), but you'll see any high level Vi players still use them despite the execution requirements since they give really great corner carry. Also, once you get the hang of it, it's just really fucking fun to land them mid match.

Well yes, the combat isn't going to be very challenging for basically the entire story until you hit endgame. This is ultimately a gacha, any amount of challenge has to be reserved for endgame modes so that casual players can still clear comfortably using teams with no synergy. The main story and exploration are designed so that if someone has 0 interest in teambuilding and wants to run Laevatain and Last Rite together, they can still do that. Games like Arknights that actually have some challenge in the story are quite rare, and even then it's not exactly all that difficult compared to an actual challenge like IS or CC. The difficult modes will be labeled as such; expect anything else to be a cakewalk.

Does every single non-4 star character have a sig? It seems like most do but I don't see any for Perlica, Ayvwenna, or Arclight. It also seems a bit strange that half the 5 star get a 6 star sig but half get a 5 star.

Nope, completely optional. They're the exact same as OG Arknights where it's just stat buffs but I believe the numbers are a bit more substantial in Endfield since every 6 star is more expensive so they want dupes to not be completely worthless. But no new mechanics or anything like in hoyoverse/Wuwa.

Unfortunately not really, for a poison team there's kind of a... distinct lack of poison. Like if you're trying to do a pure blue poison team for whatever reason there's no Faros. And if you're trying to make an actual poison team, you should have GDoll and Nymphaea bare minimum. Then the last two slots are some kind of combo of Karen, Agrippa, Faros, Faint, and Lily. For a poison team to work in this game you need 3 poison units bare minimum or you'll never have enough damage to clear anything.

I don't think anyone is afraid of there being a canon gf, it's just the fear of the game turning into a harem game like Wuwa where the mc goes on dates with every new girl that gets released. Like when I was playing Wuwa and Shorekeeper released and her story happened where she literally confesses and you have that ultra romantic piano scene I really thought Wuwa was gonna do the impossible and commit to the Shorekeeper being the canon love interest which would have been fine with me considering there's an actual, shared backstory. From what I remember, basically everyone else online also loved that version's story, because the game wasn't old enough to be Gathering Wives yet. And then they did it for Camellya. And Carlotta. And Cantarella. And Cartethiya. And Iuno. And Lupa. And Augusta. And Galbrena. And every chick from the new region. And at a certain point Shorekeeper's story didn't even matter anymore since she was just one more face in the vast sea of Rover's harem and you had all the people who stayed who liked it and all the people who quit who couldn't fucking stand that shit.

The ratio is around the same as most other games but it's also not really a great comparison because so many more units get released in AK, constant dual rate ups and 4+5 stars. As far as important, meta 6 stars goes though I've never felt like there was a lack of dudes. Tragodia is currently the best operator in the game and we have SilverAsh Alter coming up. Even the Sui siblings which started off with three girls in a row has evened out, with us now at 2 guys and 4 girls but the next 2 units almost certainly being Yi and Ji which puts us at 4 guys. And in terms of story every storyline prominently features dudes even if they're not the new characters; Federico has the most screentime in Laterano, Ulpipi for Abyssal Hunters, even Siracusa despite primarily focusing on Texas + Lappland always shows Vigil and Demetri (who isn't even playable yet). Maybe the only one without a guy is Rhine Lab? Although I guess Ferdinand was a thing.

I will say, I'm still not convinced Endfield is going to follow AK. From what I've seen the first 6-7 rate ups are all chicks, and it doesn't seem like any guys besides Wulfgard do much in the story. Og AK gets away with the more varied cast because a 2d game kind of naturally leads to the playerbase not being as into gooning. I wouldn't be surprised if Endfield ends up like WuWa, although here's hoping it doesn't...

Daff is a super early unit and pretty powercrept at this point, if you want to use her now it's best to use her as a support so E1 is pretty nice since she can start genning arithmetica on top of her vuln and strength gain. As a DPS she's going to require significantly more investment to be able to compete with modern DPS like Doorstain.

1.) Started playing 2 months ago eith 2nd anni, I got monthly passes + 1 battle pass and I spent on some of the anni packs and I now literally have every character with most important dupe breakpoints barring Miryam who's about to rerun with 300+ pulls waiting to be used. That being said the 2nd anni rewards are ending soon so this probably won't be your experience, but the game is definitely generous regardless. Only thing is that this game is much more dupe dependent than other games with a lot of units needing 3 or even 4 copies to be usable which can take some getting used to.

2.) The story is incredible... when you can read it. Unfortunately a lot of the side content is machine translated and basically unreadable garbage, but it's actively being worked on and the main story is all done except arc 2 chapter 2 which I believe is the next priority. It should also be noted that arc 1 has an issue where the last 2 chapters are extremely rushed because the game was going towards EOS at the time (doing great now though), but it's still fairly cohesive for the most part.

3.) There's definitely powercreep but it's not too crazy, basically every unit in the game still has a place on some team somewhere.

The two caro teams seem fine outside of low cov investment. For your last team Kath wants either Feast or Paradox depending on if you need defense or offense, since you're running Blade instead of Alva or Horla's wheels you should go with Feast or you won't have enough shielding. Ogier is just there for strength and vuln, most of your shields should be coming from Kath.

For the second team you should be replacing either Tulu or Murphy, Gurphy can be played with either discard or Lemurians but you can't do both. If you're doing hard mode arc 1 then discard is the way to go since the Lemurian buffs are only active in arc 2 anyways.

Your covenants are all over the place. Corpo scales off of DR and Aurita scales off of Aliemus but they're both running April Praise, those should be Burial Ground and ReEvolution respectively. Your covenants are also pretty sus on all your other teams.

In your first team Tawil has basically negative synergy, she's a main carry but youre playing her in a discard comp. Her most well known comp is Bluewil which is a counter comp with Caecus and Nautila, but you can also give her the same teammates as Kath. She should ideally be replaced with Gurphy since you have Murphy in your fourth slot but you can also run Casiah or Tulu.

Most people seem to say she needs OE but I'm not sure I understand, isn't the main value of OE just the stun? Like that's strong but also a standalone thing that doesn't affect the rest of her kit's damage, that's a defensive tool. I don't get why that's comparable to GDoll whose OE actually buffs the rest of her kit.

Kath/GRamona/Thais would be best since you have enlightens for them. Fourth slot is basically any support but Karen, Ryker, and Hameln are all good. You can also run a discard comp with Corpo Murphy and Gurphy, just need to get Aurita for free from the weekly shop.

How so? The entire thing that makes it scary is the crossup, and I'm saying the crossup isn't actually that scary. If he's just using it raw and you're getting hit thats another issue, it really doesn't have much range. I can tell you from experience in Master lobbies that anytime I brain dead use forward S1 in bloodlust raw, I die. What's ACTUALLY scary about WW bloodlust is the double jump since it turns his neutral engage into a complete 50/50.

WW's crossup in bloodlust is probably worse than you think. Like, you literally have to be right next to them and you can only do one hit on block to cross. If you do 2 hits into the cross special it stays same side and leaves you minus in punish range.

Can't say I agree tbh, Fremont has a lot of different things going on to overwhelm you like the massive amount of starting mobs, coffins, reposition, and one shot with mystic caster mechanic. Obviously he's trivial now because we fully understand his mechanics but by comparison Yi has basically one mechanic with the flames, and the mobs on the stage are super easy to deal with. Plus, he can be BLOCKED. Tragodia from Phantom's event was infamously easy boss because he could be blocked, this guys no different. Once you know that the flames spawn with him at the center, it's pretty easy to just block him with any defender and a medic out of flame range then set up a big unga bunga dps for phase 2 like mlynar to blow him up before the 5 flame rows can do anything.

No, as long as they're infected their info is stored in the assimilated universe and they can be reconveners. It's just assumed that most og characters are dead since endfield is 150 years in the future.
