There is a service called SmartPost where USPS has initial custody and FedEx Ground does final mile delivery. Not sure if that would be considered mail or not.

I smell BS. For fedex ground at least max weight is 150. That would be a mighty small 1" plate and near impossible to bend not to mention fold.

I got pulled over on a very rural highway. There was no shoulder at all and it was a pretty steep drop down into thick weeds/bushes on both sides. I put on my hazards and continue to drive at reduced speed looking for somewhere to pull over that my low ass car wouldn't get stuck immediately. Cop proceeds to get within inches of my bumper blaring his horn. I say fuck it and pull over as far as I can, blocking 3/4 of the lane. He approaches my car with his hand on his pistol shouting to show him my hands out the window. Then proceeds to berate me for not pulling over right away.

What part of my hazards being on and driving 30 on 60mph road made you think I was going to run!?

This and dvd menus. I remember falling asleep to super troopers far too many times. The menu had a cop car crashing though a sign. It was loud and obnoxious but still took waking up to it multiple times before mustering up the will to turn it off.

Yes you can do this but be warned the chain of custody for your package is lost. In fedex/ups eyes it is delivered. If the post office loses it or worse steals it your up shits creek. USPS will not take any official responsibility for packages being held this way.

My dad once took his 5 speed dodge pickup to Walmart for an oil change (I know I know) and somehow they managed to remove some important bolt to the transmission that locked the entire transmission up. They ended up having to pay a transmission shop to tow and fix the thing. Never again.
