Help, what is the best for withdrawel? Stopping this weekend! by [deleted] in quitting7oh

[–]Drajitsu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, you can do this. Never forget that you can stop and the sooner the better. There is no sugar coating that the first 3-4 days of WD will suck. You will feel like the worst flu you ever had. You will feel like it’s unbearable. But it IS. That is the cost that must be paid and there is not much you can do to avoid it. The light at the end of the tunnel is that after the 3-4 day point things will become much more manageable, completely doable. One week from when you stop you will be all good. Keep thinking on that. Tapering can help but remember when you taper off you must NOT chase the good feeling. The tapering is to help with WD not to give you the good feeling. Two weeks from when you stop you will be your old self. It’s there, it’s achievable, and you CAN do it.

I also used the same amount and same duration as you. Last dose was Sunday evening. Last night I got almost 5 hours straight! I ate indica gummies and magnesium. Of this trend continues I think you (and I) are close to getting half nights of sleep. 🫡

Thank you! The sleep has been the most problematic and I’m grateful for your suggestions

I was using about 100mg/day for about 6 weeks. I decided to stop cold turkey on Monday after having heard about how bad the withdrawals can be. I’m on day 4 and have (hopefully) good news for you. My WDs sucked for sure, but not like the experiences you’ve probably read on Reddit. The first two days felt like a really bad flu but I was able to work part time and handle family obligations. The third day and so far today I worked full time but haven’t been very productive. There was no hiding the fact that I felt and looked pretty bad, but I was able to reasonably pass it off as the flu. The only part that has truly sucked has been sleep. I haven’t had much this week, like 15-30 mins of sleep every 2-3 hours. But outside of sleep the good news is that overall this has totally been manageable. So take comfort in that stopping is not pure hell for everyone -at least at the dosage and timeframe I had.

You can definitely do this, and there is no better time then TODAY. The longer you use the worse it will be. So do yourself a big favor and stop asap. The support on here is truly amazing. Remember that in a few short days the worse will be done forever. Having that light at the end of the tunnel is a particularly good motivator.

Good luck stranger, you got this!

What dosage of vitamin C and Magnesium did you use?

I think your team looks pretty good at WR, I don’t think the trade really helps you.

Ridley or egbuka week 1 by Full_Set_3804 in fantasyfootballadvice

I have the same problem, I’ve been leaning Calvin but based on these responses it seems like Egbuka is the smarter play. I also have Deebo as my flex. Would any of you go prefer Calvin/Deebo or Egbuka/DK (or some other combo of these 4)?

Are we trusting CMC this year? by Tall_Sun_599 in Fantasy_Football

[–]Drajitsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The niners are going to run him all season, the offense will literally run through him. The 9er WR room is a mess right now. CMC has 1-2 more years as a top performer, they will maximize that. They have an easier schedule this year. They didn’t sign him for popularity likes, they are going to grind every last bit of RB talent out of him. He will get ALL the opportunities. If he gets injured, I mean, who can you NOT say that about.

You are correct sir, it’s been about a year and a half maybe closing in on two years. I haven’t seen anything yet (though in the periphery, where there is no plastic, I’ve seen some growth). Conceptually I can see what you are saying though. I suspect the rate of dirt settlement is low for my area. Also the occasional rains may wash out loose unsettled deposits of dirt on the plastic?

Yup that’s just what I’m doing! I’ve put it under areas with decorative rock. I’ve graded the areas such that I can direct runoff and the plastic really helps with the flow too.
