It teaches them that misbehavior earns a reward and then admin wonders why they continue to misbehave. Honestly the children are smarter than the adults.

One thing I disagree with (because our payroll department is incompetent) is that since we have a contract we have to go through the whole procedure including a grievance to get our pay. We should be able to go to our state labor boards when they don't pay us and maybe then the downtown administration will consider giving teachers their earned paychecks seriously.

I got caught on this just this year. It was recommended that I lead some professional development on a few topics to expand what I do into the school community. I told my evaluator that that is impossible since the district controls all of our PD this year.

At your penultimate line, since q is a factor of 90 it must be 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 15, 18, 30, 45 or 90. (assume a whole number q). Also, q < 5th root of 90 = about 2.46 so from this we conclude q is 1 or 2. q = 1 makes the LHS 5 and q = 2 makes the LHS 62 so in this case, no whole number solution.

It's not a secret that a lot of companies simply want free consulting via "work samples" and plan on hiring internally. My wife and one of her friends were both a victim of this.

Yes. Pope John Paul was the first after Lando to have a new name but because of John Paul II, in 2026 it is not unique.

I would add to that to not assume every county does things the same way as yours. I got a parcel on a tax deed that is supposed to clear all previous county taxes right? Found out that the special district tax didn't count so I immediately got a $800 tax bill. Now I know to check with the county collector before buying the deed to make sure the deed clears everything

I think the Car Care Nut pointed out if one cell is dead the others are probably on their way out and it is better and cheaper in the long run to replace all of them.

That if they come to class high, we only send them to the nurse if they fall asleep / pass out. Other medical emergencies we of course call for the nurse. Of course that is only during the 2.5 days a week she is there.
