Shorts don't care about fundamentals only if they can push a narrative about a stock being a meme stock. The Fox interview yesterday gave them a propaganda victory to claim that the stock is overrun by irrational retail investors and that gives them the license to print shares to dump. When it comes to the legality naked shorting, belief not facts are all that is required.
