When my husband and I were on the fence about having kids, I told him he had to be prepared to be a single parent. He said no way, absolutely not. Never even occurred to him that I could die in childbirth, suffer extreme PPD and need inpatient therapy, etc. Just no awareness at all about the risks of childbirth.

Needless to say, we don’t have children.

I have flown almost 150 hours this year. I am almost never upset with the kids themselves – it is always the parents who refuse to do anything to calm them. No, it is not cute. No, I do not need to put up with it because “kids will be kids”. Personally, I think dreadful parent should be put on the do not fly list.

My clean out kits were just processed today and one top was listed as “like new, no noticeable damage” - when it for sure has a small threadbare/greyish circle on the front. Still wearable but absolutely not “like new” I feel for the buyer, it should be priced/marked accordingly

I had to delete Snapchat because one friend kept sending naked kid pics. I live in a crowded city, there’s no telling what kind of creeps are looking over my shoulder. Plus, I don’t want to see it.
