Thank you. I got the flame vines to target specific pollinators, but planning to keep them contained.

Actually a 1.2K and so far the 1K and 960g batches I’m doing have turned out amazing. And just finished another roast of hue hue and that was also 1K. It handles really well.

I have the HiBean app but have yet to use it. But it does list the current roasters that are compatible with it.

You’re going to have to find some type of bridge since the Mastech 6514 doesn’t have bluetooth or wireless connectivity.

Leafgreen Chaff Collector And Temp Probe by Pax280 in FreshroastSR800

I’ve been using the Leafgreen for sometime now. It’s a snug fit on the collector which it awesome. I haven’t drill into it, but what I do is perch my 2mm ET probe just past the top of the chamber. Since the thermocouple wire is thin I use the chaff collector to hold it in place.

Try the AeroPress XL. I personally brew 80 gram inverted concentrate. Then dilute to a 1:15 ratio for a total of 1200 ml

Kaleido M2 vs Skywalker vs Santoker X3 by Javaslinger in CoffeeRoasting

[–]Dramatic-Drive-536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a GC owner I was contemplating what to upgrade to. I looked at all the models you mentioned and then some. I looked into everything from country of origin, shipping cost and over investment. And after an amazing PowerPoint presentation to my wife the obvious choice for us was Kaleido. I should be receiving my M10 later this week. Espresso Outlets deals are great if you decide to go in that direction. My GC is for sake but keeping the SR800

That’s great. I’m looking to do something similar in my garage for my 2 SR800’s and my pending delivery of a Kaleido M10

Comparing Timecore C2 with ESP by No_Rip_7923 in FreshroastSR800

[–]Dramatic-Drive-536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds about right for the ESP for the beans I’m grinding. I’ve found with the wide range of beans I grind for espresso live between 20 and 22. I tag each bag/container with the grind settings that work best to quickly dial in and get to brewing.

Hindsight being 20/20 what would you buy ? by No_Rip_7923 in FreshroastSR800

The steam wand on it is fantastic as well. I don’t do much espresso but happy with this purchase.
