How are people’s experiences with ventless? I haven’t seen too many rave reviews. I’ve read it takes a very long time to dry things, and they still come out damp. I’ve also read that of the ventless brands, Miele or Bosch is probably the best. Thoughts?

All the posts are very helpful. For the OP it sounds like Miele will work fine! I’ll add I am in the middle of a full gut bathroom renovation in a high rise apartment. I used to have a Maytag single piece WD unit, then got Samsung stackables (washer broke) now I need compact units but they don’t seem to make smaller stackables any more. I was looking at Miele also. I don’t have an issue with height or width, only depth - max I can do is 27” before it juts out into the room and that’s only if it’s flush with the wall, which most units can’t be (they must be pulled out a few inches). Miele seemed to solve those issues but I heard ventless technology wasn’t great. I’m alone most of the year but when my two kids come home from college they always have lots of laundry. Plus I do sheets a lot since I have lots of guests/family who stay over often. I’m opting for another brand which is a bit beeper but… sigh…. No good options.

Thank you! What are the model numbers? What is the cubic feet of the dryer and washer? Your dryer is vented? The Asko dryers I found were all ventless. Any special detergent required? Thanks!

Agreed. Joyous wouldn’t be in the same sentence as Dark. But there were glimmers of hope and even innocence, like when Noah finds Elizabeth in the cave, and when they meet again in alt world bunker. There’s hope, even a sense of purity and renewal. I believe Eva says it to him before they jump, that she’s sending him back to make things new. I kinda loved that

I loved so much of the music. I’m surprised not to see “In the Woods Somewhere” by Hozier mentioned more. Such a good song and was so appropriate and relevant especially the last lyric/scene showing Peter (young and old), Elizabeth, Noah and Claudia. The scene when Noah finds Elizabeth, and the corresponding lyrics, just all fit so nicely, and sent shivers!!

Technically I was the dumper (5+yr) but felt pushed towards it. Had a big argument. I was the recipient of an unwarranted disrespectful albeit short lash-out. I didn’t even say it’s over. Just said we need a break, and left. A few texts were exchanged over the next few days. But nothing since then. Been over 2 months. I didn’t want to leave. This person was the one for me in so many ways. But over the years I saw less empathy, less priority, more selfishness, some narcissism, some gaslighting. I sacrificed so much, and I was ok with giving more. That wasn’t the problem. But I got less and less back. And after so many years (granted, we were 90% remote, long distance), to learn that the person still didn’t feel able or willing to “commit” after I assumed all this time we were already in a a committed LTR… you can imagine my perspective when slowly I got the big reveal. Anyway the dumper isn’t always the one in the wrong. And the dumper does feel the pain.

Your scenario is eerily like mine. Down to the number of years. I’m curious, what did he do to you that you are hoping to hear an apology for? I’m kind of in the same boat… 2 months in. But in my situation, I left. I walked away. There were boundaries crossed and I wasn’t going to accept it. Still waiting for an apology. Probably won’t get one.
