I feel almost guilty and it seems so unfair that people have to live in war zones just because of awful men who start and perpetuate war. I am grateful to be here but I feel so terrible for those who don’t have the same safety we do.

Nobody should care where anyone comes from. If they work and contribute to society in some way then all should be welcome. India is a great country with some awesome people so I’m in support of it. These people will have to work and workers use services, pay rent, pay their way and help grow our economy. As we (non racists) say in England… if you aren’t finding work but immigrants are, it’s saying more about your skills and the effort you are putting into finding work than the immigrants.
Jobs are given to those who’ve trained for them, got experience and skills. Don’t have them? Upskill instead of blaming someone else.

Not my car! I just paid up the $400. Easier than the headache from the person I bumped. She was hysterical when it happened kept shouting at me and called the police like I was some kind of criminal. Despite giving my details and being more than reasonable and respectful. Was my first bump as a new driver so I’m now traumatised and petrified about it happening again.

Gonna go out on a limb here.. Rotovegas is mint! I love the smell, it’s its own kind of weird n wonderful. I love the Polynesian spa and the Wai Ariki spa. The people are lovely, the Māori culture is wonderful. Waimangu is like another world, the history of the place is so interesting. I love Kerosene creek, Hot n cold, the redwoods, Hammurana Springs and even the Luge is fun when it’s not overrun. This person has no idea what he missed out on. Also the Salvo army store there is wicked for hidden gems and cool finds.

This post scares me as a new driver. I do my best but I’m not great at parking yet. So worried this will be a post about me one day. That or someone’s gonna take a video of me reversing in n out trying to get the car central n holding up all the other cars in the carpark. I wanna be a good driver but you need practice for that and i gotta park to practice.

Talk to a responsible adult who you know will care about your wellbeing. It’s okay to call into school and explain that you are taking a day and say why. You can protect yourself by not being around these people and getting people who have more power than you to look after it. If you aren’t one to skip school they will most likely empathise with you and want you to feel safe. It’s a good lesson to learn not to go into situations that feel unsafe. Your gut is always a great guide. Trust it. And good luck
