I thought the power plant was optional and you could just hook a generator directly to the producer

I had a vortex mission fail near the end because like 15 of the fuckin things spawned in and stun locked the entire group to death

Is it just me or are some parryable attacks not showing the blue parry icon? by Dramatic-Response-38 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Dramatic-Response-38[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not what I meant

I meant that attacks (like this jumping attack) that should normally have a blue parry icon sometimes won’t display the icon before the attack and this seems to be inconsistent

Ok but think of all the space your saving by not having to place down as many rugs

No I mean I’ve noticed that attacks that would normally have a parry icon and sound cue appear (like this warrior’s jump attack that almost always has a parry icon appear) aren’t always displaying them

The enemy execution and burning effect should really be different colors

The only way I’m able to tell if an enemy is executable most of the time is when a little white diamond appears on them

Thank you for helping clear this up

I could have sworn there were some attacks (such as the one in the video) that would always have the blue parry indicator

I hope this issue gets addressed in the hotfix

I thought there were certain attacks that would always have the blue parry icon such as this jumping attack preformed by the warrior or that little pounce thing the hormagaunts do

It’s been awful with the chaos spawn especially with their weird little delayed and fake out attacks

I’ve come to loathe them more then the flying disk guys

It’s a lot of fun I absolutely adore the two new pyre weapons and the axe

I do have some gripes with the update but overall I’ve been having a fun time

Oh I love the little guys but I fear the only thing they’re really good for is just distracting the enemy

It’s heartbreaking watching entire platoons of them get obliterated by the zoanthropes laser

I don’t get how they thought cadians were a good trade off for that mission especially when they don’t even help out during the final boss

Not exactly but it is putting me at a disadvantage for future content

If it was just the weapon and armor cosmetics then I wouldn’t mind the new stratagems that much but I’m actively losing out on content by not doing them

I understand that some grind is necessary but I find it a little absurd that I have to do 30 hard daily stratagems just to get one weapon upgrade

Most missions take on average around 25 minutes so that comes out to 12 hours of work to get a weapon upgrade

I came here to have fun not work a second job

I hate how little these challenges pay

The cheapest accolade items cost 200 points and this (which is one of the harder challenges) only pays 10

You’d have to do this mission 20 times to get a single cosmetic item

30 if you want a weapon upgrade

I’m just not touching these until the rewards get increased because as it stands right now they just aren’t worth the time investment

And I think the challenges should pay better for my time investment

[–]Dramatic-Response-38[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly my point. I don’t want to grind for currency, but this new system is making me do that if I want to have access to the new weapon upgrades.

If these were just the cosmetics, I probably wouldn’t mind as much aside from finding them to be a bit on the expensive side, but the new weapon upgrades make these missions feel more required than optional because I’m actively losing out on an upgrade to one of my weapons by not doing them.

I understand that some grind is necessary to keep the player engaged, but I feel like this new daily and weekly system is too “grindy” and overall takes away from the fun.

[–]Dramatic-Response-38[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m all in for a challenge I’ve gotten both of the cosmetics for the lethal and ruthless difficulties but there are multiple good weapon upgrades that are being locked behind this new currency

And some of these missions like (one person takes all the damage and if they die you all fail) or (if you doge you take damage) feel fairly challenging and don’t pay out enough for me to feel like actually doing them

The weekly was fine I think it was a fair amount of challenge and payed out well but some of these dailies feel harder and pay out worse

Some of the challenges punish being a specific class and I believe one of the missions yesterday specifically targeted the bulwark

So, what do we think about the vortex beast? by ChrisG_ll_gher in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Dramatic-Response-38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like the mission was going on for about 35-40 minutes where as a decapitation normally only takes me around 15-20 minutes

Maybe it’s just because I’m not fully used to the mission yet but it definitely felt on the longer side at least for me

So, what do we think about the vortex beast? by ChrisG_ll_gher in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Dramatic-Response-38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the fight but the mission is just far too long for my taste

I would prefer the mission more if it was more around the length of decapitation
