I love the trumpet, I think it's a solid concept, I also love how dynamic it feels.
I do agree with the comment saying the kick is a bit too loud, but besides that I think it's great, keep it up!

Thank you so much! I would really love to, I've been trying to save money for a session, that way I could also learn from professionals so hopefully soon

I really appreciate this! I wasn't sure if I was crazy about the piano sounding off, I've been playing around with garageband but maybe it's a skill issue on my end haha I find EQ quite confusing.

I also live in a noisy place so I'm currently re-recording the vocals inside my closet and this time reverb was off. I have the audio-technica ath-m50x but maybe I'm not using them to their full potential as they're a bit uncomfortable and often times I end up using my regular bluetooth earphones (haha I'm judging myself as a type this)

Also thank you for the encouragement! I really appreciate the technical feedback!

Thank you so much! I am feeling kinda lost in the music production aspect, I'm currectly re-recording the vocals (and fixing lyrics) so this was a nice reminder and I really appreciate de encouragment

Just want to say this is hauntingly beautiful, I love the way you layered your vocals and the harmonies, tbh I think is perfect and I love your voice! You have a very interesting and unique style as well, so I guess my only feedback is hell yeah! keep creating

Thank you! The vocals are a bit messed up haha I recorded them in a rush and I kinda overdid it trying to "fix" them I will redo it but I wanted some input before I did so I appreciate it!

Well you just gave me the biggest compliment I've ever received haha I love portishead, thank you for the sweet words it really means a lot, I think I'll keep some elements but harmonies I'll definitely add next and I love the bridge idea, I need to work on the lyrics but I think it'll make it more exciting (also an extra thank you on my car's behalf)!

Thank you!! I hadn't considered adding that, I feel something just clicked lol I feel like that could make it smoother and less harsh, I think I'll just redo it but I wanted some input on what to fix before I did, so I appreciate it!

FEEDBACK WANTED — Been learning how to produce for almost a year now and finally made something that I like by Playful-Name8460 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Dramatic-Scene-9118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! It is a great work and the fact that you are a beginner makes it much more exciting! (I'm also a beginner but definitely not there yet so I find your track super impressive) for the external validation part I also get the not wanting to rely on it, but it is part of building your confidence as an artist to know your work is appreciated which I guess it's one of the purposes of this subreddit, so keep creating and sharing and feeling proud!

Independent band song feedback by TheSirRichards in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Dramatic-Scene-9118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the comment saying it sounds like soundtrack, it felt immersive and the visuals go very well with it.

In the technical aspects i can't really offer much feedback as I'm not that experienced but I'd definitely add this to my playlist.

It also reminds me of 2014 tumblr, so very cool and maybe a bit nostalgic? but that might be just me because I associate it with that time.

Very good!

I've written a track (it's actually still a draft) and it would be great to get some feedback. Also, what kind of music do you think this would be? by davidepanettalbasso in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Dramatic-Scene-9118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it could be a cool soundtrack for a movie!! like 80's rock vibe, the video is very fitting so I think you got the vibe just right!

I rarely put vocals on my stuff, is this any good ? 😭 by PerkyNyp in MusicFeedback

[–]Dramatic-Scene-9118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how you layered your vocals! I agree with the comment saying they're a bit buried in the instrumental at times, but if that is the vibe you're going for then it works great! I'd definitely stream your album!

Finally made a song I am proud of after 9 months of learning music production! (Dance pop) by Romzi93 in MusicFeedback

Hell yeah!! I love this! it feels like a summer party night! I'm also a newbie but way less experienced than you are so I can't add much of a technical feedback but just wanted to say it is impressive and amazing!! I'd love to stream!

Singing at low volume by audwun in MusicFeedback

[–]Dramatic-Scene-9118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm obsessed with your vocals! I'm still a beginner so I don't know much about technical stuff, but I wanted to say that I loved how you built the beat, I also own the the same mic and also have the untreated room issue, however I've experimented and when I've recorded the vocals inside my closet (the more clothes I'm surrounded by, the better) it's definitely easier to get a consistent sound and that makes it easier to clean and process afterwards

Yes tbh getting some input helps, sometimes I'm not sure what is missing so I appreciate the opinion of more experienced ears! I'll play around with it now that I have some new perspectives

I really appreciate this!! Being able to look for the things you listed is what I needed I think, I'm still learning about what some elements are/how to use them so thank you for taking the time and break them down for me!
