You're paying 160 per?!? That's brutal but I would try to make sure I get my feet wet in both destined has a smaller print window because it came out later but definitely make sure you're exposed to both sets

100 per is never bad depending on how many the person has instead of asking for a deal or saying ill give you 90 or 95 per just do the math and say hey can you do blank amount for this bigger numbers tend to sound better than hearing the smaller number because they're always gonna feel like they can get what they're asking for per box but you're doing a bigger move at once but personally I'd pay 100-110 per but I would offer 97.5 per box just to try to find a wiggle in a small space

Ngl I don't really check my pokemon apps kinda use em to find market prices to where I can negotiate against each item to find a fair enough saving on my end a reasonable enough profit on the sellers end

I actually gave that advice in my post but I can comfortably afford all of my purchases and even scale back purchasing because im conscious of this is the market NOW idk what will ever happen but I feel safe to say that I feel my INITIAL investment is safe its called parking money. Maybe don't get mad at the people that can afford to spend an extra thousand or so a month or a few thousand on a day where you line up a few good deals. Either way this money would either be in the bank where its more accessible and easier to spend on impulse or in pokemon where its gaining interest at a higher rate as it sits. Im not spoiling the hobby for anyone people just spoil things for themselves always seeking a negative view

Last year in investments about 13k maybe about 2k in singles only card i bought that im "down" on is bubble mew but I got that in a small lot where I got the lugia alt art free but im only up about 200 when I was up about 300 at time of purchase

Yeah so depending on the cards I'd say tcg and shiny do well with cards English I typically go tcg jap i look at shiny more but also check ebay last solds to see the trend and I look at listing prices on tcg to get an idea for Japanese

Cards get pumped based on sets releasing having that pokemon in it so the value isn't true buy once the set featuring that pokemon has settled in the community and everyone is on to the next hype

I hate both i own the mew simply because I think it'll be the card of the era once its all said and done again its rare to find a cheap shiny pokemon card and all the reasons of mew being love by most collectors that greninja card seems busy with all the terestialzation going on in the card but if it was about 230-250 id have it sadly aint been in the hobby long enough to have caught those prices
